Just thought I’d give you some feedback. I’ve been watching these videos meticulously over the last 12 weeks and alongside my padel lessons these videos have really helped me. I won the most improved award tonight and I would attribute some of the success I’ve been having on court down to your videos so thank you.

One of your best videos so far. I'm going to share with the people I normally play with because we're all guilty of at least one mistake mentioned. Thanks for the tips and visual references!

Great video, don't know why it didn't come up in my feed when I started following you over a year ago but oh well. Not that it is a big deal at this point but the serve at 3:44 was illegal. He hit well above his waist. Here is hoping that guy has learned of this and has corrected it in the 2 years since this videos posting. :)

Great video. We discussed today whether serve and volley is still the right tactic if you're on the second service, and that second service is very weak to ensure hitting inside the box. I take the message from this video to do serve and volley no matter what, and rather aim to improve the second serve quality over time?
@ThePadelSchool3 жыл бұрын
I would suggest improving the 2nd serve or taking slightly less risk on the first, so that is more consistent...but always try to serve and volley.

Great video Sandy. What is your thought about a lob as a return ?
@ThePadelSchool4 жыл бұрын
I think the lob return is a good shot if you are confident with it and it is low risk...not necessarily something to do off a low, fast slice serve...

Hello Sandy. Thanks for the great video. Does player height affect positioning at the net? One of the people I play with is 5ft 2 and says they prefer not to come all the way in because they're not tall enough. They tend to stop between the service line and the second post. Is this a sensible tactic if you're very small? Thanks again.
@ThePadelSchool4 жыл бұрын
It is sensible to be more reserved coming forward, and maybe only a step further back. Not too far back though otherwise they miss the chance of coming forward properly.

Thanks Sandy. Much appreciated.

Wait wait wait, you call it the Australian formation when you serve from the same side as your volley player? here in Western Australia we say that's the European way lol
