Glad you did Creamy! Several years ago we used Creamy in the main living areas of our high-ceiling apartment and trimmed it in a brighter white for a white-on-white look. I like its cozy warmth and the fact that I can easily use colorful artwork and furnishings without worrying about clashing colors.

Don’t understand the whole don’t want yellow coming through. The whole point of cream is to have a slight yellow. It’s like being enveloped by warm sunlight. I just painted over my nasty cold gray wall with warm cream.

Exactly! You have better taste than the average person (and so do I)! It's just trendy at the moment to want white or gray and to say "no yellow." Their loss.

So the previous owner of our home painted EVERYTHING in Creamy. Walls, trim, doors, ceilings… They also installed almond colored light outlets and light switches, so I feel stuck with it. In natural light, it’s smooth, beautiful, and yummy looking, like the buttercream frosting on a wedding cake. But in low, incandescent light, my home looks like a chain smoker’s house. ☹️ I’m hoping to solve the issue with a change in wall color and lightbulb temp. I really hope I can make peace with it.

What color should I paint my cabinets if I have a Venetian gold granite (yellowish/beige) and maple brown/orange floors? I have good natural light, the house is in the woods, and the kitchen has sofit in only one side of the cabinets (strange ceiling and layout). I was thinking on creamy. Thoughts? Island same color?

Hello, I am painting my bathroom in White Sesame right now, and so far all I can tell you is that you have to be very careful with lighting. I know that is true with every colour, but specially with this one. I made the mistake of not trying a sample, and it looks greyish and muddy, even though it’s advertised as a warm colour. I am debating whether I should repaint the whole bathroom or try new lighting in the hopes it looks better. I hope you had better luck.

What about a ceiling color for Creamy walls? I notice that nearly all designers and/or bloggers discuss trim and cabinet complimentary colors but no one talks about ceiling colors. I'd love to see more ideas for selecting the ceiling color as "ceiling" white might not match the chosen color and colors-other-than-white can look great.

I have creamy on all my trim, doors, and crown molding. I was supposed to have softer tan on my walls but my painter matched it in a different brand and it’s way golder. What colors including white would go with my creamy trim work as I slowly paint over the softer tan. I also need to paint a big island with a pop of color. Please HELP! Thank you!!!

My home was part of the tuscan craze. After seeing your video I painted the entire interior Creamy wiyh Pure White trim and it compliments my orange ceramic tile beautifully. The tile is hard to explain, its deeper orange wiith gray marbled veins. My new cabinets will be white with black trim. Do you think a medium gray or black quartz countertop would work? Everyone is suggesting Calacatta Gold to tie in the orange floor but I'm afraid the floor has too much pattern that I should use a solid color countertop. What do you think? And thank you.

What would be helpful for me as the direction of the wall that the paint is going to go on? i’ve tried 100,000 different colors. My wall is west facing. I really would like an off-white with a tinge of yellow in it to give it some color. Problem with the west wall is the white comes out and it’s too bright. So with the low LTR, the color should come out not so bright, but what color is this color going to show?

OK, I’m totally confused here because I do blog about SW 7012 Creamy for furniture and while I have a creative spark, I’m not a DIYer, but I have to be because I am doing a short term rental with gently used spartan furniture. (Thomasville curved leg desk, French cane headboard). I want a creamy white color, not a gray white and lean more toward French cottage or French apartment look. So help please! On furniture do I use a roller or spray paint? Satin? Matte? Please don’t suggest chalk paint because I tried that on my cat litter box cabinet, and it was streaked and uneven. Operator error, likely. Would love your color and how-to recommendations and or KZbin links to these topics. Thank you!

Are you kidding it's HOA approved! is Panda better? I have a Spanish home and deep down I feel all Spanish homes should be warm whites with colorful trim and red tile roofs. Not that my HOA would approve color on the trim...
