Great video ! I’m concerned for PaPa, he seems so tired. Please take care of yourself. Take a nap each day . I think that will help you. God bless you both! 🙏🏼❤️. (I’m 82 and I take one nap each day and it holds me over until bedtime.).

I've been married for almost 45 years. I (the wife) am a horrible about interrupting. I think that it's from the years of raising 5 children and fighting to be heard. 😂😂 I'm actively working on it. 🎉❤

Awesome looking meal. I love things like that, honey garlic, orange, sesame, kung pao chicken. I will say I don't think Asian dishes give or make enough sauce. Us Americans are used to plenty of gravy and sauce. A restaurant or even a recipe gives enough to coat the protein but no sauce for or on the rice imo. I always make double, I want that wonderful sauce on my rice as well, at least a bit of it. I feel like lo mein could have more sauce. Etc. I have some wonderful recipes, one is a Thai peanut sauce meal... Anyhow, great video, looked good!

The poorest I have ever been and believe me that has been PRETTY poor, I will NOT skimp on heat. I hope no one here does including you two. Even Florida and Arizona can be pretty cold at night even in a year of normal weather. You go an hour north of Phoenix and the temps are not the same.. Some years it would take me 1/2 a year to pay off my heat bill but I am never going to skimp on heat nor would I stay with anyone that does. I had a friend whose husband had a rule they could not turn the heat on until November 1st. In Wisconsin. Give me a break. People should be warm enough, comfortable if they can be. She worked, possibly even made more than him. I'd never put up with that. If it is cold, turn it on. Also have a son in law, one time I was at my daughter's and he was away with friends and I stayed a night with her, it was cold and I told her let's turn the heat up for a few minutes. We mentioned we had done so when he got home and he was what...??? I think it was September maybe and he thought too early. Maybe August even. It was simply night time and a bit chilly. It took like ten minutes of heat and that was it. Places known to be warm can still get cold or cool at night. Likewise, places like WI can have sweltering 90 degree days in the summer and need air conditioning. If one can afford it, turn either on. Let the spouse do so, do not rule on such. Partners are not always comfortable at the same temp, that can be a big and serious problem. One is too hot, one is too cold. There was not anything in this video to indicate such a thing but mentioning you finally had to turn the heat on once made me wonder if you've had some "somewhat" cool nights but resist using it and you both just power through if just a bit chilly. To each their own, but for me, I am never going to not turn either system on to be comfortable, warm enough or cool enough. Again nothing in your video caused this thought other than you mentioning you finally had to turn it on like once and yet I know Florida had a fair cold snap recently. I'm surprised it was not more than once.

GREAT recipe! Ginger would be awesome in this too! ....Anyway, SAFETY FIRST... PLEASE tell me that isn't a piece of raw chicken that appeared suddenly sitting on the board beside the garlic at 11:09..?? Then Papa later placed a piece of cooked chicken beside it and ate from it, also giving a piece to Sue. While, I think it's great that you are using gloves for raw meat, (and I was laughing along with Susan too), but sometimes using gloves can be more of a hindrance than a help unless you can get the anti-cross contamination routine down! (I'm a retired nurse so I get it! lol)....I tend to do all the 'raw meat' stuff first, then wash my hands thoroughly and if anything ends up on the counter or board, that gets placed aside and disinfected with hot water/soap and bleach before anything else is placed on it...also, really mindful of not using the raw meat knife to cut the cooked meat is a good thing to be careful of...
