What you will need:
A plastic trim tool or slim wide flat head screwdriver and some tape.
Method:
With your trim tool or screwdriver get behind the vent in the dash and pull the screwdriver towards you, as you feel it coming swap to the other side and do the same. Once you can get your fingers behind the lip pull the vent using your hands.
To remove the chrome ring you need to prise it off from the back edge between the vent ring and the plastic vent. Usually you need to do this in 3 places before the vent ring will become free.
Fitting a boost gauge.
