Ciao ragazzi! I live in nearby Castellammare del Golfo for six months per year. I am from Wisconsin, USA where there are no mountains or sea so Sicily is magical to me! Due to a spinal cord injury I am unable to hike the Zingaro trail but I have been up and down the entire coastline by boat. I have been in all the grottoes, coves, and swam and snorkeled in many places here. It was so beautiful taking in all the scenery while being on the water, truly life changing in my opinion. I love it here and have made many wonderful new friends as well! Grazie per questa video, Paul in Sicily

I have relatives in Southern Italy, and one summer on holiday, like clockwork it used to rain for about 10 minutes heavily around 3pm every day, then back to the heat. Used to love hearing the rain hit the marble paving stones outside and gravel drive.

"Southern Italy" does not exist...Each of the five regions of the South has the same diversity that exists between California and Texas in the U.S.A......Sicily is very different from Campania, as is Calabria is not Lucania. 😎
