Looks like mostly junk from the junk years 1986-1995 where they just churned out each card in the millions and millions. BUT the graded ones of those years still sell real well! My dad has so many unopened boxes from 1987 to 1991. I have opened all of them except for about 15-20 boxes of mixed rack, and wax packs from 1989 topps. In the ones I have opened I just put Griffey aside as well as Randy Johnson and other notable rookies. About 10% of those are 10s. I have sent some of the ones I think are 10s (perfect record when guessing, and grading myself). I just started with my pokemon cards from 2014-2017. I have quite a few that are worth a couple thousand each that I think will be a PSA10. I have about 25 Pokemon XY Evolutions Charizard holo and about 10 or so reverse hollow that I would score a 10. That's about $50,000 right there as long as I don't flood the market. I will sell one or two a month. I noticed that the regular holos are worth more than the EX/GX cards. So my first submission was 79 cards total to PSA. About 25 charizard holo, 10 reverse holo. Those fetch about $2000 to $2500 for holo. and $150-$250 for reverse holo. About 10 of each Clefairy, and Chansey holos that are most likely 10s. I didn't send off the reverse holos of those yet. Those are worth on average $500 to $800 each as long as I don't flood the market. The other 20 were cards like shattered ice Pikachu and non holo Raichu from XY. They are $100 to about $500 cards there. I am looking at getting about $70,000 for my first load. The turn around time is terrible (90-120 days but a few weeks after sending I noticed they are in grading stage so maybe I will get them back sooner). For my baseball load I am personally grading before sending to be graded by PSA.... It's going to be awesome though, because we collected Leaf cards as well as normal Donruss. So I have a boat load of 1985 leaf, and 1987 leaf. 10 or so Clemens and 10 or so Puckett 1985 leaf which are worth a ton. Seen them sell on ebay for about $2500-$4000 each. So many cards. I had to buy 30 card shoebox that holds 800 cards. I have a box packed tight (with top loaders) of about 600 Randy Johnson topps, fleer (no marlboro sign, but I did get a bunch with the black box partially covering it) score and donruss. and Ken Griffey donruss/fleer/upper deck. Another 800 Maddux/Glavine/Smoltz rookies. I have about 10 or so of the fleer update Glavine card, and 10 or so Leaf 1987 Greg Maddux. As for Smoltz I have about 800 of him. Almost filled a shoebox. It's taken me a few months to open all these boxes, and I still have quite a bit. If you would like to show me hit me up with an address and I will show ya pics. Or I can just make a video to show you. It's crazy all the stuff we collected as a kid. Oh I have quote a few 1958-1960 topps. Only 3 mickey Mantles though. All about PSA 5 or 6. With the old cards I am sending them to SGC. I have a couple Drysdale 1957 Rookies, and a Duke Snider second year in good shape. Mostly second tier stars though, they still fetch a lot if graded well though. I will make a video tomorrow and put on my channel. It's crazy all the stuff I found.

Totally worth it for the Bonds rookies and the Griffey Upper Deck. I also like the sealed sets, those are always fun to pick up. I'm surprised there wasn't a Dennis Cook in a screw down case, I thought everyone had one in their collection.

You should do OK on these...did you hide the '87 Topps Bonds from Erik????
@cardsnstuffTWO2 жыл бұрын
You really didn't do bad at all. A lot of those singles are not worth the paper they're on. Some of the star rookies from the 80s like your Barry Bonds have had a recent surge in value. The Ken Griffey Jr rookies are always a plus especially the Upper Deck. That 1993 Topps factory set is a gem. There's a few more sets and cards too. So I'd say you did very well. I started collecting a few years before you did and yes I remember all of those can't miss prospects that I was buying as well.

Most people would say yes...but it depends on what's there. There are some pretty valuable cards that can be found in the 90's but you just need to know what to look for.
