Good luck. I am so sorry. My daughter had AML It developed when her baby was 13 mo. She has died. They did blood tests after she delivered, some stuff was off. They never investigated. Healthcare has failed us.

Best wishes for a long life! It is a total shame that there is a stigma for lung cancer. Lungs are the only thing you need to get lung cancer. My brother-in-law got lung cancer at 28 and survived.

It is wonderful that you only have to take 8 pills a day. Some people take more pills than that for high blood pressure. It is also amazing that you have not had to have chemo, radiation, or multiple surgeries. It is sad that you got lung cancer, but you have been lucky to only have to take pills.

The pollution in the air is deliberately not being studied. As a runner, you could unknowingly kill your lungs by breathing in toxic air at a higher rate than a person who's walking through it at a normal heart rate. This is not being studied extensively enough. Pollutants are invisible, which is what these corporations are thankful for. The ecosystem and the people who are destroying it for capital are equally toxic. Do NOT run where there's multiple vehicles and traffic. That should be obvious to be a toxic environment, yet I see university students do it all the time. The environment is so maladaptive that one can think that they're being healthy but actually destroying their health by what they do and eat. You have to look at a salad sideways now. Sad!

Eric Snowden is said to be treasonous, yet these corporations are destroying the ecosystem over greed. I'll take Eric Snowden over the aforementioned any day because at least he tells the truth and has a conscience. There's a reason why lung cancer is so prevalent for "anyone who has lungs." They can no longer hide behind tobacco, as athletes are succumbing to this form of cancer. Vegans are getting colon cancer. Pesticide effects are not being studied thoroughly on purpose. Failing to find evidence is just as evil as destroying it.

I think that running on treadmills in the gyms is also not good. Have you noticed how gyms smell like plastic/rubber? That’s because of the formaldehyde off gassing from the equipment and plastic panel floorings.

In many of these stories the person has worked out a lot, running etc. i hear this story again and again. Studies show intense exercise depletes the immune system and causes upper respiratory infections. I do wonder if there is a connection. My coworker got luekemia after losing a lot of weight and getting fit. Perhaps with life stress on top of a lot of exercise it is too much for our bodies and we need deep rest.

Not only that but it circulates the infection or disease faster through the body. I remember my OBGYN told me when I had an yeast infection. He said "Take the pills in the morning, not in the night when going to bed and drink a lot of water with it, so while you're out and doing things it can circulate faster through your system" But whatevs. People can CONTINUE harboring and manifesting their diseases all they want.
