I have a friend who has had appendiceal cancer for over 10 years. Her cancer was more widespread, and shehas had the mother of all surgeries 3 times with HIPEC. She had an additional surgery to reverse her ileostomy. Most of her organs have been removed, but she is doing well at this time. Best wishes for continuing good health!

Im so sorry you have to go through this. And hearing it is horrible in itself. I'll never forget the feeling I had when the nurse in the emergency room told me that I probably had colon cancer. I just remember feeling like I wasnt even there and he was talking to someone else. But it wasnt that......Here I had a hyatel hernia and my stomach was pushed up against the walls of my inside causing a sore and then for it to start bleeding which then made me anemic. It was called Cameron Erosion. Anyway...Sorry Im rambling on. I just wish you the best. Take Care.

My brother in law was diagnosed after a routine appendectomy. Maybe it's not as rare as it used to be.

All forms of cancer especially amoung young people is on the rise. Even far eastern countries are seeing an increase in cancer which is out of the norm. Can only speculate what's causing the increase. Who knows?

So no symptoms at all other than insignificant bowel changes?
@pam1647 сағат бұрын
That was like my sister, and she had bowel cancer, only had a bit pain when she went to bathroom, they give her stool test and they found blood in it. They found cancer in her colon and luckily caught it in time.

So is this cancer terminal? I hope not!
@dellajohnston36017 сағат бұрын
Doesn't have to be. Radical surgery (usually all repro, lot of bowel, gall bladder, periotoneum excised) and cryotherapy x
