I was diagnosed stage 3+ colon cancer a year ago….had a colon resection then endured 6 months of chemo. The side effects were horrendous…my post chemo scans are now showing questionable spots on my liver. I’ll have scans tomorrow to determine if biopsy is necessary. I feel that we are the world’s greatest warriors….we’ll be victorious in our fight.

My 48 year old son has stage 3 pancreatic cancer, has had 11 rounds of chemo and each one is harder for him to get thru. After the next one they'll decide if he can have the surgery. We're all hoping hard for that because it seems like the chemo is killing him. Thank you for sharing your story and I wish you a long lifetime of good health. ❤

I’m cancer free 18 years as of Sunday for ovarian cancer (stage 3c) and coming up on one year for stage 0 breast cancer (unrelated - I am negative for all 85 cancers they screened me for). When I went through chemo years ago, I had the same “day before” thing you described. The nurses called it anticipatory nausea, and I started taking meds the day before to help me along. The stories we can all tell! But the best thing of all is he;ping others coming behind us on their journey. We’re all different, but we can all help. Take care of yourself and your beautiful family.

thanks for your story, my roommate is going through colon and I with lung ,, here is an FYI What are the symptoms of lung cancer in nonsmokers? In the United States, lung cancer kills more than 361 people each day. This is the highest number of deaths from any type of cancer, and more than breast, prostate, and pancreatic cancers combined. WHY? According to various sources, engine exhaust contains over 40 identified toxic chemicals, including benzene, arsenic, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, 1,3-butadiene, lead, and a variety of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), which are considered cancer-causing substances; this complex mixture is often referred to as "soot" and is a major concern due to its fine particulate matter that can deeply penetrate the lungs.

I had the same issues. So exhausted, sick to my stomach all the time, couldn’t eat much at a time, bloated and miserable, diarrhea and constipation and was initially diagnosed with IBS and Gluten sensativity. Had a colon biopsy in 2019 and discovered I had Mastocystits entercolitis. It’s an over expression of histamine in my intestines, basically your intestines become recognized by the mast cells as a threat or foreign allergen and starts attacking the intestinal/stomach tissue. He put me on Zyrtec and Pepcid together everyday and it has stopped the process for now. These meds combined are H1 & H2 histamine blockers. There is no cure for mastocystits and can become systemic eventually and attack my liver, spleen, kidneys, lungs or skin. I wonder if thats what you had and it developed into cancer? Glad you are ok.

This is so crazy. I have been having stomach issues since 2015 sick on the stomach tummy aches, issues with food, nausea and vomiting. Had several colonoscopies and they said everything looks fine or a little irritation. It sounds so much like your stomach. I am always so nervous going anywhere because I feel like I will hinder my husband and children. My husband is also a FF. I’m almost 49 next month and I’m told you are too young for anything like that. But why am I so exhausted and feel yucky all the time?? Something seems wrong and I’ve been made to feel like it’s “in my head” who does that?!? I don’t want to be sick. I’m tired of being sick. I don’t know where else to go 😭I’m assuming if it is bad when they figure it out it’s probably gonna be too late.

Go to an allergy specialist and be tested for environmental and food allergies. Also just request from your doctor a referral to a GI specialist and request a biopsy. There are also blood tests the allergist and GI can do to determine if there is something going on. You have to be your own advocate and if your doctor is talking you out of it, then find another doctor. You probably need some pre and probiotics to get things back in balance.

@@lalathebenificent1335that’s what I thought too, but she said they thought it was celiac disease, and that’s a disease of the colon. So they must have done a scope. I wonder if she had a rare form of colon cancer that was diffuse (so like flat) instead of a mass/tumor? I have no idea. It’s scary to think in 6 months she went from “fine scope” to stage 4 😳

@@alexandratewell5337this has been our question too. This is my sister, when she says scope it was a colonoscopy. We do not understand why she wasn’t diagnosed sooner, how these other doctors missed the polyps.
@roch145
@roch145 8 күн бұрын
@@alexandratewell5337it’s important to understand staging of colon cancer. Stage 4 means it’s metastasized from the colon to other parts of the body. She said her colon tumors were stage 1 or 2. So relatively small. And possibly hard to pick up in a colonoscopy. So even though her colon tumors were relatively small they had spread to the liver which automatically makes it Stage 4. There are many Stage 4 colon cancer patients who have much bigger tumors in the colon. Requiring very significant surgeries to remove them and possibly getting a colostomy as an outcome. Not to minimize her situation, but she had about the best kind of stage 4 colon cancer. Resecting the liver is usually better than having to resect a lung, since liver tissue re-grows whereas lung tissue does not. I wish her well with recovery and long term prognosis.

They aren’t wrong. Cancer is typically found in older people because it usually takes a long time for the cell damage to occur that results in tumors. Colon cancer may be the number one cancer killer for under 40 year olds, but the vast majority of colon cancer patients are over 65. Just go to a chemo unit and assess the ages of the people in the chairs.

@@andreabontempo643 I’m sure that’s so. But what you are seeing does not represent the entire population of colon cancer patients. Perhaps older colon cancer patients aren’t aware of a naturopath. I wonder if all the colonoscopies are the culprit. I believe and I’ve heard it elsewhere that a cancer cell can be transferred through the procedure. The scopes can’t be completely rendered clesn. I know it’s not the only reason because young people are getting diagnosed and they don’t get colonoscopies but I’m still suspicious that could be a possibility. Catch 22. Damned if you do damned if you don’t. I’d opt out. Even if it’s positive for cancer, what do they offer you? Poison. No thanks. Start researching now first holistic remedies. Prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Im still trying to conjure up cancer in myself. Smoked since I was 13, and I am now 38. My alleged biological father had colorectal cancer. I won't go though any sort of treatments.

@@dianajames4717so no treatment at all? It sounds like you don’t want to be here anymore. I get why you don’t want chemo but they are having good success with it. I hope you at least are having your ovaries removed. I hope you find a reason to fight for your life and find complete healing.

@@dianajames4717 I was going through chemo five years ago for stage 3c rectal cancer. So I have experience with it. It wasn’t pleasant. I really didn’t have too much nausea, but everyone is different. Ultimately it left me with permanent neuropathy in my feet and fingers. But it certainly had a key role in my survival. I can understand your desire to avoid chemo. That’s your choice. I hope you do well with whatever treatment path you decide to take.

I do think you did try to find out what was causing your symptoms, it was just missed. You being so young they didn't take it seriously. I don't think there was anything you could've done differently.

Does anyone wonder what in the world is going on with these young DX uptick? I'm tired and baffled at fact when I don't see the concern from the average American questioning our health care model and food safety. We need to get to root of what is happening. This is not normal.

@breezeh1127 Stage 4 means the cancer has spread. I, too, thought that is what it meant . I presently have stage 3B rectal cancer. I have a very large tumor in my rectum. After having a PET scan, the lympth nodes in and around the area of the tumor lit up like a Christmas tree. My oncologist said I'm stage 3B " High risk." My cancer is on the verge of spreading. I just completed my first round of chemo. I, too, have a chemo " pump" for two days after the treatment as the lady in this video shared.

@@breezeh1127Stage 4 has a five year survival rate of about 15%. Stage 3 50-70%. So while not a death sentence, Stage 4 is a difficult one. Seems like hers was caught relatively early. The challenge will be recurrence.
