Yeah, there is so much setup that is so unnecessary, if there was no slight of hand involved. His dictating of who touches it, and when, how the envelope is opened, which piece is pulled out, etc etc. Make no sense. If he wanted us to believe he guessed all of that right, there are way more simple ways to handle the info. Hell, just record a video.

I love the show but this was my least favorite draft special in years. I thought the coverage was really sloppy and unorganized. Picks weren’t being announced all the time and some guys got almost no air time. Mad Mel didn’t have many funny moments. Bostons comedy wasn’t utilized and given the spotlight it should have been. Extremely disappointing

The problem with this segment is that predicting that many picks correctly is way too absurd to be believable. Nice sleight of hand but it’s clearly fake which made it feel like a waste of time and dumb. On top of that they missed picks because of it when you have the GOAT sitting next to you ready to give analysis and breakdowns.
