hearing pac talk about denver made me so happy. i’ve always known we were a world class organization but i feel like it doesn’t get talked about enough that after that super bowl win, our owner died, peyton retired, and kubiak resigned as head coach. that would kill any franchise and we’re just now barely recovering from that. but before that we were world class at every level and it honestly doesn’t surprise me hearing pac man praise denver the way that he did.

AJ was there for the 2015 season. One of our better seasons as a franchise going 12-4. That the playoff game Burfict was out of control and Jeremy Hill fumbled in the red zone late in the fourth where we would have secured the win with a score. Out of all the playoff losses that one stung the most.

Doesn’t every corporation/company/real world job have their employees pay for lunch or provide options (restaurants/food joints) but not for free? While the employees aren’t getting paid anywhere near as much as professional athletes?
@aprilp660
@aprilp660 Жыл бұрын
But most corporations/companies don't dictate which food you need to eat to do your job which with nutrition and health requirements NFL teams basically do. They have full teams designing meals specifically for them to have the right fuel for their job. At that point the special diet should be free because it's equivalent to a workers equipment bag and tools, it's a requirement and tool needed to succeed
@w0ykj

Yes, I don't get the complaints either. Especially because the people complaining aren't saying that companies in general should pay for lunch but rather NFL players are for some reason a unique example exempt from having to pay for their own lunch.

The Lions have finally put together that family type of organization in my opinion. I think that’s why this years draft surprised a lot of people, they took players they felt would fit in with the team. Even if they weren’t the so called best available at their position they were the what the team was looking for. MCDC and the guys aren’t going to be biting they’re going to be eating kneecaps this year.

“Hopefully Nashville gets a new stadium”… About that… the stadium ends up being largely paid for by tax dollars. While yes, the NFL does drive people to local businesses, but that doesn’t necessarily help the common everyday worker. I find that to be a sticky topic. As society wants more government funding for public facilities and such, the NFL gets a chunk in terms of stadium funding. Priorities.
