That's a nice build, but you should replace the two side fans with the Thermalright TL-C12RW-S reserve airflow fans for a cleaner look. They only cost $1 more than what you have now and would make a big difference.
@ThePcRehab8 ай бұрын
Honestly did not even know those existed until today lol somebody else mentioned this and I will absolutely be doing that going forward 👍

I like that new case design, it looks like a Sky Two Clone. That case has room rite in front of the psu cover, u mite be able to install an LCD screen there? As far as the case fans I hope that in the future the case fan manufacturers design the case fans so that u can detach the blades and flip them around so that the frame and motor side can always be facing the case side. That way all u see is the blade side wether its for intake or exhaust. An alternative case fan that I highly recommend using is something called the "Bitspower Touchaqua Notos O RGB" which seems to be an exclusive at Microcenter, basically the fan blade lights up, plus it has an argb ring around the fan on both sides of the frame, so even if u have to put it backwards into the case like u did it still gives off a ton of lite anyways on the back side. I don't know why theres no clones of it yet? And as far as the power supply extensions u could offer a made to order option, if its for a girl then u can offer her pinkwhite extensions and a pink video card. Throw some Hello Kitty Stickers in it for good measure.

Thermalright actually makes a reversed fan and I did not know about it until yesterday when somebody mentioned it. And the fan you are describing sounds a lot like the Phantex fans I put inside of the most recent giveaway from the build up challenge season 1 finale. They looked so cool. Very clean look

Thing that bothered me the most about this build is seeing a 10400 going into a z series motherboard
@MrSamadolfo8 ай бұрын
🙂 its fine, i have something similar on one of my pcs, i just checked ebay and the i7 11700Ks are still way overpriced but sure later on when prices come down then upgrade the cpu.
@Booth738 ай бұрын
@MrSamadolfo I didn't say it wasn't ok. It just hurts my heart to see it done. The main reason for the z series boards is to allow overclocking, and has better vrm cooling for the most part. But to put a non overclockable cpu just painful to watch

Hi, nice build as always, quick question : is the custom paint affecting the thermals of the gpu ? Are the fans louder due to the ''extra'' weight and layer of the paint ?
@ThePcRehab8 ай бұрын
There is no thermal change on the gpu nor is there a increase in fan noise. When painting the fans on a gpu it’s very important to go very lite on the paint job and also stay as even as you can. You don’t do more then maybe 3 passes on the fans

Really like the build. Have painted a few houses myself but have never been courageous enough to paint fans or gone with different colors. My only gripe is the push pull. I would have ditched the musetex fans. They seem to clutter it up a bit.
@ThePcRehab8 ай бұрын
The fans are tricky to paint. You have to be very careful with how much and how even the pain is applied so you don’t damage the fan bearings. I tested the build with out the push pull and it looked good but that case have very large openings at the top and with just the 3 fans on there they were visible, not a ton but it was still there and I did not like that I could see them so the push pull did a good job of hiding it. Also I quite like a pc that seems full rather then very open. But sometimes I feel the opposite…guess it all depends on the build

There is something that nobody talks about in this video, and that is that the configuration is negative pressure, therefore there are more fans that take out air than those that put in air, therefore it is disproportionate, although aesthetically it looks good, functionally it is bad. What is your opinion?

🙂 theres a Sky Two in Blue, its only 10 bucks more over the white, theres not too many blue cases out there, i'm thinking there might be a boy out there that would really like a blue case for his bedroom, something that would coordinate better for a boys bedroom, maybe add a three fan Blue Sparkle Intel Arc to go with it. Then bling it up with blue cables and argb fans and a radiator just like u did here. And it doesn't have to be an expensive cpu, just throw in an i3-12100 and a simple ATX B board.

I want to see a build where different peripherals have different colors. It's boring as (censored) to see everything doing clone colors. Blue here blue there. Maybe blue at the bottom representing cooler temps and moving to more yellow, orange, red colors closer to the top where heat would rise. Then tying the color variations to reflect actual heat changes. Maybe in a pulse or heartbeat rhythm.
