Shoutout to Chance Perdomo. His character Andre was my favorite in the group, and in my honest opinion he truly delivered with his performance. Sadly, Chance passed away about five months ago. He was involved in an accident with his motorcycle in upstate New York while he was on his way up to Toronto to work on the second season. The show won’t be the same without Andre, but the cast and crew will do their best to honor both the actor and his character. In loving memory of Chance Perdomo. October 19, 1996 - March 30, 2024.

Cate always hated humans. Listen what she tells Marie about her parents. Her parents made her hate humans for making come across as a freak needing to be locked away. However Shetty was the one person she thought she could trust but once she found the truth about her real intentions, she snapped and had no where to turn. She was gone at that point. Shetty proved to Cate that she can't trust any human. So I agree that Shetty inadvertently caused this for torturing and manipulating these kids.
