@@theperfectmixxYeah there’s a lot of conflicting and contradictory stories and narratives especially surrounding Eric’s finances and the whole Jerry Heller side of things from other members of the group and other artists and producers from Ruthless and Death Row. Cube definitely misrepresented how things went towards the end. Eric was actually doing really well but there were a lot of complications when it came to managing the financial situation and spending money developing other artists like Bone Thugs and Harmony, the scene with Eric having to deal weed in order to pay his bills is by almost all accounts fabricated and the falling out with Jerry is controversial to say the least. There’s also wide speculation that Suge paid to have Eric purposefully injected with HIV contaminated drugs because he was actually healthy by all accounts until about a week or two before his diagnosis and his T-Cells crashed insanely fast. Cube and Heller never got along and Yella was the only member that attended Eric’s funeral. Other artists have said that Heller and his lawyers were a bit shady but they never had issues with getting paid and were very grateful for the opportunities Heller provided so they didn’t even think to get their own lawyers to negotiate or evaluate their contracts

I always laugh so hard at the scene of NWA reacting to "No Vaseline" and Yella is like "Shit's kinda funny." hahahaha yeah maybe because Cube barely clowns on you and Dre in the song, meanwhile E and Ren are accused of being fucked in their asses like multiple times each hahaha!
