As a fan who was around when all this was happening in real life, Ice Cube’s son captured his father’s essence 100%. It felt like actually seeing Cube on the screen. The story is based on how they actually got on with certain things made up for the movies. Some things like making Eazy E look like he was going broke was wrong though, and Eazy didn’t get beat up, Suge wasn’t that tough, they only threatened him. And a lot of Eazy’s close friends feel like the wife played a role in his death, she owns Ruthless records now and has ruined the legacy.
@RollTide199510 ай бұрын
I’ve seen in different comment sections the theory that Suge used a needle, that had been used by someone with HIV. And that’s how Eazy contacted the disease. There’s also a video of Suge on a late night tv show hinting that he had something to do with itshow.

Cause Dre day only meant Eazy's payday. Eazy was a good business man. I like how when Suge tried to get him to sign a paper releasing Dre from Ruthless, Eazy signed the name Mickey Mouse, to be a smart ass. B.G. Knocc out said Eazy told him about that incident. In real life suge and his goons came out with baseball bat's. But Eazy wasn't scared one bit. They didn't lay a finger on Eazy, because Suge knew Eazy had the Kelly Park Crips behind him. Jerry Heller was a bit of a polarizing figure. I wouldn't necessarily call him a full blown P.O.S. He helped open many doors for the guys and pulled a lot of strings to get them up the ladder. But at the same time, he did definitely exploit Eazy-E and preyed upon his naivety/ lack of business sense. It's sadly always been an extremely common practice for music executives working alongside young and inexperienced artists.

The reason for the switch up when it came to Ice Cube’s high skin is in the 80’s Los Angeles county had a program that mixed up kids from different districts to mix up the schools. If you want to watch some real LA street films that show you what was really goin on in Los Angeles, you need to react to Colors and American Me. Both of these movie really affected the coming generations

The way Dre and Cube showed themselves in the movie is not 100% accurate. Cube was the one from South Central, not Compton. Dre played so badass, although in life he would never even try to hit a gangster, especially Suge’s friend and member of MOB Piru. The first arrest that was shown in the film was because of fines, not because Dre hit someone. All Dre did was beat up women, when he wouldn’t try to disrespect gangstas. Suge wouldn't dare touch Eazy E because Eazy E had all the gangstas in Compton and South Central behind him. Keffe D, Eazy's friend and member of Crips himself stated this in an interview. According to B.G. Knocc Out Eazy signed a contract termination with a false signature, and therefore had percentages in Dre's music and his production on Death Row. Cube and Dre lied about Eazy and other people. Eazy was also deceived by Jerry, he was not an selfish. Eazy couldn't let go of Dre, D.O.C and Michel'le because they signed a contract, unlike Cube and Arabian Prince. They also did not show other significant figures, namely DJ Speed, Arabian Prince and others. Before "Straight Outta Compton" album, Arabian Prince was one of the important figures in the group, but for the same reason he left the group and the label before Cube and Dre, trying to warn his homies about Jerry. Alonzo played a key role in the acquaintance of Eazy and Jerry, Jerry at that time worked with Dre and Yella in the group World Class Wreckin Cru. The Tupac scene is not chronologically correct. Tupac wrote "Hail Mary" after Dre left the label. So you shouldn't trust the film 100%.

Fun Fact: That Eazy beating…NEVER happened. Eazy was that dude and Suge knew that..Would NEVER have put hands on him. Period 😅 great movie though

He was historically jumped, even Suge said in a later interview and alluded to administering Eazy E The Aids through a syringe during the beat down. This was the music mafia. Suge hung Vanilla Ice upside down out the window to get the money to fund Death Row as well.

Eazy E actually told B.G. Knocc Out, that Cube was the pouty guy of the group. He'd always pout about somethin, and have a problem with somethin.

Straight Outta Compton was a good movie, but I wish they didn't try to paint Dre as an angel, and Eazy as the dude being in the wrong, he also never had to sell his house due to going broke. In my opinion Eazy was the glue to the group, not only did he spend his drugmoney on funding the record company, he was the one member the group couldn't exist without. Dre had a history of domestic abuse, and physically assaulted MTV's Dee Barnes at a party, which Eazy dissed him for in "Real muthaphu*kin G's".
