My partner is just like him and it’s amazing. I’m a Type 1 diabetic recently diagnosed and I was so scared to check my blood sugar and inject myself, he used to do it for me all the time but he always encouraged me to do it myself and pushed me and now I’m doing it myself all the time now. I never would have been able to do it without him. (I have a huge fear of needles and always get sick from injections) 😊

Abi Cunningham we know that, we’re not saying it for ourselves. We’re saying it for her. We have hope for her and with knowing how badly she wants it, we can try to manifest for it with her. I can only speak for myself, but the comment I made saying “I hope she announces she’s pregnant by the end of the series” it’s just because I know how badly she wants a baby and someone like her deserves it. It’s coming from a good place not a good place.

We did 3 egg collections. 1st time we got 1 egg, 2nd time we got two and 3rd time we got 11. We ended up with 8 healthy embryos and transferred the first embryo into our surrogate and it worked first go. We have a beautiful 16mo girl .. my younger sister was our egg donor and my older sister was our surrogate. I still grieve for the loss of never having a biological baby, but I love my daughter the same as any other mother would.

When she asked Steven if he was scared too and he immediately replied "yeah" it was the most sincere, genuine, fearful, but supportive thing I've ever heard a human say. It definitely caught me in the throat and made my eyes tear up. Asking your partner to do such a fragile, vulnerable act with you/for you is such a huge testimant to a relationship. My mom was 40 when she started trying to have children. After 3 miscarriages, she was very discouraged. She then forced my dad to have sex with her every night in December and January (lol), and that’s how I was conceived. She had heard all 3 of the heartbeats of my unborn siblings before me, so she remembers that when she heard mine, she had no reaction. My dad wasn’t even at the doctor’s office with her. Eventually, when it seemed like this pregnancy “stuck”, it finally hit her, and she broke down in tears. In October 1994, my firecracker Scorpio self was born. My mom tried her very best to give me a sibling, and did 2 rounds of IVF. She recalls working as a teacher, and having to give herself the shots in the bathroom. I guess I’m telling you this story because everyone is different. Every conception story is different. And you are so courageous to be giving it your all, with your husband by your side, and posting your story here on this platform. I have 5 siblings in heaven now, alongside my father who passed away when I was 10. My mom always asks, “What if I had more children? How would I be a single mom to multiple children?” But only God knows his timing and only gives us what he knows we can handle. You are inspiring millions, and make God bless you with a little chicken soon. ❤️

I've had 4 IVF, way back when...and though my husband was supportive, I had to do most of the shots myself due to scheduling. Between the drugs and the shots it's not a fun experience. For us it didn't work. Even with IVF you still have only a 1 in 4 of getting pregnant, so for us we were not lucky. But for some reason I feel that you guys will be...or are already....and I agree with another commenter, this should be on Netflix!

Watching this has been so painful because I know the pain but both desi and kristis stories have given me hope. Makes me so emotional watching this, I tried for 10years to get pregnant. With having PCOS was very difficult. I thank God everyday that I now have a 9 year old. I'm now 42 and unfortunately never happened again for me, but it did and so lucky to have my daughter. Just wish it could of happened again. Your both so so strong, not at the end of the series yet but I'm so thankful you are sharing your journey so other couples out there can relate and not feel so alone. This happens to many many women, and needs to be spoke about more so we don't have to feel unworthy as women. I did IVF 18 years ago( twin girls) things have changed SO much!! Also NODODY mentioned the progesterone injections possibly paralyzing us, OMG! Hubby did all my injections too :) Strong women Desi, sending love and congratulations to you all. You found out on Feb 9 and my twins were born on Feb 9 :) IVF Mommy’s rock!!

Raven Lenz I agree! I know a few people who couldn’t afford to keep going. And it’s so sad that money has to determine if you can keep trying for something that’s suppose to be “natural” for a woman. Praying for future changes and way less expensive options ❤️

I get flashbacks looking at all of this. You are such a strong woman and thank God you have a strong man by your side. We started infertility treatments when I was 39, and nothing work. Well, we weren't able to keep trying because financially we couldn't keep up with the treatments. No one, no one knows the suffering infertility patients go through. It hurts to think I couldn't keep trying. We even tried to adopt but it's so expensive. I'm older now and the chances of me having a baby are 1%.. We recently applied to foster kids and hopefully our miracle comes through fostering....but I will always have in the back of my mind the questions as to what if we were able to afford the treatments....etc etc. Wishing you nothing but blessings from above!!!
