An office area needs a functional kitchen where workers can have food and drink without worry about damaging the woodwork. Easier to keep clean and works well with the offer decor. With all the history throughout the Convent, it's nice to have a small 'modern' little kitchen in place. We guys are kicking it at both the Chateau and the Convent. I can only speak for myself, but maybe others here will agree that we all appreciate all your hard work on the vlogs. Special thanks to Ryan for stepping up and helping take some of the daily work on the vlog from Billy. Ryan your doing a very professional job on editing the vlogs. And thanks to the people in the background that never seem to get the exposure that they deserve “Rick” and “Steve”. One suggestion on the kitchen. I found on my put-it-together-yourself kitchen cabinets that the screws for the same type of hinges that you have, weren’t quite long enough and after a few years, the screw would loosen the hinge would rock back and forth where it was connected to the cabinet. A ¼” longer screw and a dab of wood glue does the trick.

I know we are just into November but I am super excited to see what you do for Christmas at the Convent. I can just imagine how beautiful the courtyard and convent will look all dressed up for Christmas. OMG artwork from a cannon printer!?! In such a historical building with so many architectural elements! I'm.... I believe you say "Gob Smacked". I think your choices as you’ve been renovating have been spot on. The area that you’ve been redoing for the office is looking really nice and it’s smart to not spend a ton of money on architectural pieces for that part of the convent. The chapel and other areas like the bell tower and the 🤞spiral staircase should be the focus for that type of work and expenditure.

Love the colour of your new kitchen. The convent has such large rooms and can take a bold dark colour. You can always have spots of bright colours by adding some accessories on the bench (ie: say a red coffee machine). This whole area is your work area and doesn't need to have any architectural designs/features unless you want it to. I agree with keeping the features in the chapel, but for your work area, then agree with your colour choices and designs - it all is looking fabulous. Good morning Billy and the hard working people, may no time wasted thee in the demolishing and cleaning up. The only way to stay on top of projects. A good idea to keep the rubble for that pathway later on. It saves the trouble of carting away when you can use it in the foundations. The Convent kitchen is going to look amazing, the choice of cupboards is perfect, it will serve the purpose well and you choice of units are very good plus you did the assembling quickly and it is looking smart. The other kitchen will look amazing, you can do so much there, it would be interesting to see the end result. Do not ever put yourself down, even in a fun way, there are not many people whom are so dedicated as you Billy and you all work together amazingly. Kind regards

My goodness you all work very hard each day. That demolition job was well done and great thinking of reusing the ruble and bricks in a road. The painting looks good too, shame that some people don't understand its a modern office attached to a kitchen in a plain room at the Convent, there will be no doubt a lot of traffic will be utilising the office kitchen in future, plus it looks a great place to keep refreshments.
