The lore entry for the Helm of Saint-14 is a discussion between Cayde and Shaxx about how all the great titans are dead and that Saint fought on the belief that some guardian messiah was coming. Shaxx then says that he is going to watch a new guardian from the cosmodrome enter the crucible for the first time. Cayde jokes "maybe he's the one. We'll call him 'Crota's End'." It's worth reading if you haven't already.

So basically as I understand it, we discovered the pyramid ship on the moon, so we went inside and had the vision. After this, we go into the black garden to weaken the Vex. Then we seek out Osiris and look for Saint-14, the most powerful titan ever, and eliminate the rest of the red legion leadership. Then they launch the almighty at us, so we go to Rasputin and build him up to full strength. He destroys the almighty, and now we have the most powerful war machine in the solar system. So throughout the year, we've been weakening enemies and assembling a team of the strongest allies in the solar system

Golfen Gun existed sirca the Dark Age. From Thorn/The Last Word ghost fragments we can also tell that the golden gun itself is an embodyment of Gunslinger's rage.

@@xolagix specifically when a hunter casts a classic golden gun they are actually summoning that same light embodiment of the last word that Shin Malfur used. Many Hunters have changed their light to reflect their own legends tho, as we know Cayde summons his ace of spades. It's really cool that the legend of Shin Malfur and his confrontation with dredgen yor is this impactful on hunters to this day.

I'm sad because unfortunately I missed out on this season, I love saint - 14 and his story, but I didn't keep up with destiny enough to know the season had this campaign, hopefully in the future there is something similar added to Amanda to replay the old story missions of the seasons, if not I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to participate in this. The story of destiny is what kept me around for years, and love to see this direction in destiny 2 Here's to hoping they keep up all the awesome Story content

Its funny how Fallen, cabal and Vex create one thing to destroy a guardian light. Considering the sniper scorn only had the one shot to take cayde ghost. But Taken/Hive seem to permanently kill guardians left and right.

not really. they're capable of causing final deaths fairly easy, it just depends on if the ghost gets captured. the devourer bullet for cayde was meant for cayde himself, but when he brought out Sundance the rifleman switched over. with the cabal, there's been plenty of evidence of them killing guardians in grimoire cards, but they prefer to avoid us as it takes a lot of artillery to take out the ghost just to kill a single enemy. vex are capable of plenty of stuff, just look to asher Mir and kabr's team. martyr was specifically made for Saint because Saint is pretty much just impossible to kill, he kept going for a long while even after losing his light.

@@Ahnock you forget that they created a thing just for saint that took them for however long, and once it became busted, it stayed busted. Let's look at it, you have Eris and her team who got slapped on the moon. You got the taken on gambit that from what Drifter and another guardian said at the start of gambit prime that they taken basically real death some of the guardians. I'm pretty sure there are more, I just can't remember or know at the top of my head. That was the point of my comment though. It takes a certain bullet to kill a ghost for fallen/scorn, it takes as you say a bunch of artillery to kill 1 ghost, and the vex created one machine to subdue 1 titan. Meanwhile hive and taken can seem to kill guardians left and right compared to them all.

@@Ahnock and I'm not saying that the other species aren't dangerous, im just saying from the game and info, the hive and taken seem to kill more. Vex create anything to help their needs atm, cabal with their advanced tech and weaponry and the fallen with them being our most extreme rival. To me only the fallen come second to hive/taken since they seem to be the closest ones to us. "Oh you couldn't get siva to work with you, well boom we just fully integrated with it. Oh you have the light backing you up, well we got the darkness." Basically to me as danger goes from most to least its : hive/taken, fallen, vex and then cabal.

For the hive and taken its because of the darkness which is a paracasual force of nature that is the opposite of the light, plus the have knight that wield blades capable of absorbing the light, and then there's the taken same thing like the hive absorb the light of guardians does

What I love about Saint is he has a feeling I think makes sense. He fought for so long, he felt there is no point of continuing to fight even if you are immortal. Him seeing us and seeing the possible future of the Last City. He gets hope that he has not had in so long. He kept fighting and got out of the Infinite Forest.

He is my favorite character of all time in destiny. When i first heard about him in D1 i was so amazed on how awesome he is. I'd love so serve under his wing. He's better than Zavala in every aspect. Saint 14 IS the definition of a titan.

I absolutely love how wholesome Saint is, breaks that Titan stereotype or whatever. I wish I had played this quest durning Dawn, D2 isn’t my go to kind of game but it’s a casual one that can be enjoyed in bursts, to me anyway. I guess I was missing out on a lot more than I originally thought.

I've always looked up to Saint-14 when I'd play d1, I'd rock his helmet even though it didn't fit my subclass. The fact he was 'dead' in d1 always saddened me to bits. But now that we can meet him in d2, and he even calls me/us his mentor? It brings me so much unfathomable joy.
