Ark: Survival Evolved: How to build a Kibble Farm - Homestead Build tutorial (No Mods)
Welcome to my new Homestead update kibble farm, with the kibble rework we are only going to need 6 dinos to lay eggs for us. They are going to be in groups from extra small to extra large and each egg can be laid by different dinos, so it really is up to you what few dinos you want as egg layers now.
I chose dinos I could ride and were relatively small and I chose therizinosaur because they were the smallest dino to lay extra large eggs and that dictated the size of the base to a degree.
I built this place so it was compact and everything was easily accessible, the dinos are above the main floor so the eggs just drop right next to where you will be making the kibble.
The second floor is a small production area with storage and beds and a landing area around the outside.

recently getting into ark pretty heavily, was watching some builds by another creator called aaron longstaff when i saw this cool looking build in one of the recommended vids, decided to check it out and once i saw the interior quickly grabbed my attention even harder. take my sub, im about to binge watch your channel, this is hands down one of the most badass, beautiful builds ive seen and im excited to see more of your stuff.

Hey Thank you very much, I really enjoy making these videos and I am happy to help out and give people little building inspiration :) I was surprised about the theriz as well, but I think they may have picked it just for this reason to keep people from having to build huge bases. I think in the long run with the cryopods and this kibble rework they are really looking to reduce bases size and get better performance on the servers

This build is *amazing*, thank you so much for this video. I'm currently playing around with it to use it as my main base on Ragnarok, so adding some TEK gate and glass instead of the stone, and just using ceilings instead of the egg ramps. You've got a real gift for architecture!

Just built this.. let me just say it took me a very long time to do with no sleep. ;( made of tek and greenhouse, and duplicated for a second entire area on top. It's absolutely gorgeous! I am building this in the ice palace area in the Center, as my main base. I have the second floor interior all planned out and I am so in love with this build. I love things that are intricate and unique. This is exactly the kind of build I want! I did replace the doors and gates though with tek doors and gates because i love the look of them much better ^-^ Great build!

for those who are following this build got to the point of placing the ceiling pieces. you cannot place metal ceilings and triangle ceilings on console. use tek ceilings and triangle ceilings

I'm building this in a server i am playing. The issue I had was I couldn't bring in my anky's. I solved this by removing some of the double door frames and keep them in one of the metal fingers area.

I came across this video about a week ago so I thought I would watch another build with the s+, saw that it says no mods, my initial reaction was ok bit strange. I don’t really follow ark that much looked into homestead and thought I can build this. I play official but so I’m going to be making it. I was wondering I have most of the mats you need from the, pop ups you did during the video but is it possible to get the full list of mats as I’m sure I messed up somewhere by guessing. I am also going to add my own little twist to it is there anywhere I could send you ss when it’s completed please as I would like to share you’re inspiration but my own little twist on it. hey pilgrim the new homestead update broke this build for me because i built it with S+ now i cant do any thing to it cant snap to it at all do you know of any workarounds to fix in the ini files and keep up the great builds or any way to remove the update so i can play the way it was ?

real quickly so did you have to do anything to the dinos to make the have eggs? or do the females just pump out eggs by themselves like i think dodos? or do you need a male? i thought they had to be left on mate which makes them wonder right?

The females will lay some eggs but having one male with them will make them produce more, so I have 4 or 5 female one male. Then having the Oviraptor set on wander gives the egg buff to all nearby dinos and they will lay even more. Fill the Oviraptor with stone so it does not run around. The only dino that has to mate to lay is the new Deinonychus. Hope this helps :)

Hey, they patched that our for some reason, Square ceilings still snap. Just use a double doorframe to hold it up, they don't take up much room

Another prob I ran into is the Catwalks (38:38) you placed sideways didn't want to go that way for me, only wanted to snap out from position. So I just put four Sloped Greenhouse Roof there, got to keep the visitors dry when knocking at door. Loving it, just working on the dinos and fitting out now. Thanks again.

just found out you can put a square metal ceiling under the stairs and then add a triangle ceiling to it so you have the triangle linked with the square to the stairs just hope the square metal ceiling doesn't stand or hangs in the way

Yeah just after this build came out they stopped the triangle ceilings from snapping to the bottom of stairs, the best thing to do is snap a double door frame below and snap the triangle ceiling to that 👍

It changed they took off the snap point in an update, you can use the metal double doorway frames to support the triangle ceiling from below

@@davidgauthier3597 that's ok I did I put 2 double door frames just Infront of and underneath the top stairs then snapped the triangle roof to those then snapped the bottom stair to it. It looks more or less the same but the triangle roof sticks out a tiny bit under the top stair

@@ThePilgrimzProject I actually didnt have that issue at all. It may be how the server is set up? The only thing I had issues with is the railings infront of the greenhouse walls. I can live without them but other than that, i didnt have an issue.

@krittol on the outside walls there are 2 snap points. Inside and outside. Fence base goes to outside snap and rails as well. The glass walls goto Inside snap point. Easiest to build this in creator but you can do it in non creator especially if you have clipping turned on.

You dont even need a kibble farm, ill rather go to rag for 20 mins and heat vision with a snow owl for sheep. Instead of building this for like 3 days.
