ARK: Survival Evolved - How to Build a Large House with Dino Pen - Villa Base Design (No Mods)

This is quite an authentic-looking base design, it's not too elaborate but set in the right surrounds it will look great, especially in the Desert or maybe Jungle Biome.
This is a How to Build Tutorial for a Large House and Dino Pens, there is a large Greenhouse and kibble production area along with stables and pens around a large courtyard.
The main building has a small crafting workshop, storage and living areas and space to bring in flyers on the top floor.
I was looking at Roman Villas online they use a lot of terracotta tiled roofs with stone and brick walls so the Adobe is the perfect structure to get that Mediterranian look for this build.
You can use Stone and paint it with parchment or Tan dye to get a similar effect and save on farming all the sand for Adobe.
There is a full Structures list pinned in the comments.
In this tutorial, there are a lot of Ark building ideas and building tips that can be used on your own base designs.
This Base was built on official settings with no mods so it can be built on Ark Survival Evolved Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Ark Survival Evolved has amazing building mechanics, there are endless ways to design and build your base.

Hey people, there is a full Structures list below. This is another build to add to the Dino Ranch but it would stand alone as a small PvE base, I got the idea from some pics of Roman and Spanish Villas. Structures list I used Adobe but you can use any Material. I call them the Perches... I like to recharge my flyers stam by landing on them when crossing the southern region. Why not build a base? Why not build an AWESOME base?

How did you find so much clay on valguero? I play on an official server and I can't use the cactus/sand method for creating it, only the limestone/claystone method.

By playing the video at 0.25x speed its actually quite easy to build this, it just takes a long time. I'm 28 minutes into the video, most of my build is complete, but I've been building for like 4-5 hours. Still, its a really nice build and definitely the biggest and most impressive thing I've built. Looking forward to having it finished and inviting the server to come and have a look around to admire my (your) work haha

Nice glad you like it :) This is a good build if you find the right spot of flat land. You will have to use pillars to support the building on uneven ground. Check out captain fatdog he has a lot of tips and tricks for building in Ark

Just finished building this and I have to say there were a few hiccups in the process of building it, mainly because I was on survival and not god mode, but I really loved the challenge! It turned out beautifully, and I no longer have lag when I’m in the area of my house unlike other large builds I have! Also probably a dumb question, what is the other build next to it? Currently building this on my SP. I put behemoth gates at both entrances to this area, to keep any delinquents out. Doing this solo survival is rough. Lots of running around farming. If I could give some feedback. Slowing the video down some would help, currently it's hard to keep up. Lots of pausing and rewinding. Next maybe add more still images with heights or amount of structures. That could've helped a lot on this build. You could've done the pillars and did an aerial image and had the heights for each pillar. That's about all I have to critique. No offense or anything. I really enjoy your builds and wishing you much success on your channel.

And you are right about taking more time and care with the videos I am just in this process of finding a balance between speed builds and tutorials. The editing for a full how to build video can take days, but a speed build can be done in hours and they are much more popular in terms of Views

is there a way to request an aberration home? there's this beautiful spot on aberration. it is near crystalline swamp. coords are 47.6 and 70.2. there's a flat above but living on the crystals with cliff platforms would be way cooler. Even a house at crystalline swamp which is very close to the coords. i barely see any aberration homes.

Sure I can take a look at that spot. I know what you mean Aberration does not have many builds, I think the terrain is a bit tough to build on and makes tutorial videos hard. I have a couple of builds to get done and I will get on Aberration and see what I can do :)

I f you are on single player or an unofficial server you can use the no collision setting and that will let you build structures into anything

Yeah I think it would, you could build some of the small buildings connected to the walls with Wood so it is not just all stone. That would give it a more medieval look.

It would be really helpful, if you're going to speed up the building, at least put directions on screen So i don't have to keep pausing and rewinding to count out foundations for placement. Other than that build looks great, just starting. check out Aaron Longstaff tutorials, you'll see what I mean.
