Ark: Survival Evolved - Large House with Dino Pen - Villa build No Mods (Speed Build)

Welcome to dino ranch 2, a large house with dino pens based on a Villa design. The base is built on Crystal Isles with No mods and clip active.
This base has elements from a few of my designs like the dino ranch villa and the Chinese courtyard house
I wanted to get everything needed to play the game in this base and still make it look good.
It comes with a crop farm, hatchery, Tek Fabricator and indy forge, large crafting areas with a lot of storage and dino pens for dozens of dinos.
I am really happy with the decor in the bar and I found out we can paint rugs freehand!!
The tour at the end is kinda long but there is a lot to show off :)

This is a sweet build. I’m almost done with it myself. But I have to say: You literally are the most A.D.D builder I’ve ever seen. Like, why don’t you place all Dino gates where they go while you’re placing them instead of placing some. Building a roof. Then placing more gates. Then building the greenhouse. Or the ceiling tiles you use to make the walls face inward. Just place all the ceiling tiles, then place all the walls, then pick up all the ceiling tiles. That way you don’t have to switch back and forth and back forth between structures. Super annoying to follow along with this video because of it.

The jumping around from place to place instead of completing each section doesn't bother me, the time spent building is still the same. What bothers me is that walls, ceilings, pillars and roof tiles stay red when I try to follow the video and won't snap to the structure, wasting many hours of my time. It's not Pilgrimz fault either, the ARK developers for some strange reason decided that 12 snap points for a fence foundation was a great idea. 😡

YES!!! I was so freaking frustrated that I quit the build and went and played Fortnite for like a week before coming back! Literally pissed me off how they never finished a section or leaving holes to just fill up later. OMG!!!! Awesome structure but horrible execution.

This is probably one of my favorite builds by you. Have you ever tried building a Roman villa before or any other real landmarks? Again, amazing work. It makes me want to try again at my building skills especially since i have my rock drake that I love so much.

Thanks Amber, I liked this one a lot my self. I was building and backing off to take a look now and again and once the roofs were on it just looked really good I liked the greenhouse and barn having the same design at each side as well. I have looked at a lot of Roman Villas and adobe would be perfect especially for the roofs, I could leave sections open with pillars for dinos I think that would be a good build 🤔 next one I think 😁 I am just building some stuff on Grounded while the hype is bringing in views I will try not to slack with the Ark builds :)

I don't know if you would see this considering this video is over 8 months old but in the future just an idea maybe building the decorations as well you don't have to because your already spending so much time but it would appreciate it because I tried building an a creative map to see if i liked it which of course I did but i didn't know how to decorate everything i got most of the stuff but it didn't look as nice as yours but good video as always ☺️

I have a base on the island on a peninsula next to Weathertop. Sp mode. Been experiencing issues. My place getting cramped. This is exactly the type of thing I was thinking of... now, just have to see about all the huge rocks on Weathertop see which are permanent.

How did you make the bed.. how did you get carpet and beds to sit on top of boxes ?

There are tables next to each other the carpets/rugs will sit on the table the beds go on the tables, the boxes are around the sides to hide the tables 😁

Pilgrims I had problems placing down the pillars at the start could you tell me how to do it because i tried to tell lace them but they didn’t wanna snap to the corners or the foundation

Yeah but the build can be done without clip you just have to place the catwalks along the walls before the roof. The roof corners at the main build will not clip through each other where they extend over the edge of the side buildings they are not really needed
