It’s been 54 years now since he died. I look back sometimes and think about those earlier days when I thought the pain would never become gentler. And what I believe is that in your own good time things will ease for you. But I also believe that there’s value in feeling the sharpness and the questions that come with the early days of grief. My condolences. My Mother’s and my birthday are a week apart and my Grandmother’s birthday is in between. My Mother was rushed to the hospital and I remembered praying she didn’t die on her birthday and continued to pray she didn’t die on my birthday 😢 She went to Glory a week later💔😭😢 I will say a prayer 🙏🏾 for you.
