Coach Freeman was the LBs coach my senior year playing at Purdue. His ascension in the game has been incredible to watch. Has always been a real one 💯

There is no one else I’d rather have, at this moment, leading this group of young men into becoming responsible young men in our society. I hope Coach Freeman wins a NC at Notre Dame, and the leadership gives this man a blank check once he does.

If he does well at ND, and if Ryan Day leaves for the NFL soon, OSU will back up the brinks truck for Freeman or Luke Fickell. It would be difficult for either of those two guys to turn down the Buckeyes regardless of how well they're doing at their current situation.

He just made me appreciate him not only because of his message, but also the fact he is half black and half Asian and I have children that are half black and Asian as well and they’re going to get all types of stereotypes and pressures as they continue to get older and he is showing that they’re no different than anyone that is one race. With hard work, discipline, dedication and purpose they can be anything or anyone they want to be.

Im born and raised and still live in South Bend within a mile of ND, and tho I’m not a big ND fan I am a HUGE fan of Coach Freeman. Exceptional coach and even better man. The way he embraces the community is top notch! We, as residence of this ‘college town’ haven’t seen love from the FOOTBALL coach since Lou Holtz!

My daughter just graduated from NotreDame! NotreDame football is everything. Was at the coldest game in Years! 19 degrees and it snowed at halftime!! Best time with the fam!! And it was senior nite! Got a chance to hit the field after the game!!

Marcus Freeman!! Huber Heights Wayne Warrior alumni. Went to the same high school as him. I remember always hearing about how beastly he was on the field. Him and the DB coach Mike Mickens both went to Wayne.

Marcus Freeman played football with my son in school. We took trips to championship games. He waa a class act then and hes a class act now. I love seeing how far hes gone. Couldnt be prouder.
