Way, way back my parents went on a camping/fishing trip along the Cabot Trail, nine months later I was born in Digby. I now live on the prairies but am homesick for my Nova Scotia home, each and every day.

We did the trail counterclockwise. My wife and I took a few detours to places like the 6 fishing villages and the Smokey Mountain gondola as the “money shot, ahhh” views weren’t as plentiful like we experienced on the Oregon or California coast, but we are both from Vancouver Island, BC and wanted to see our counterpart on the east coast.

Great video, but just an update to the Uisge Ban falls, the first 80% is easy trails but the last 20% is quite rugged, crawling over boulders and tree roots. The roads into the Provincial park are quite rough in spots and you are in a remote area

Really awesome video guys. What time of the year were you guys there? I just moved from California to Toronto. I wanna do this drive over a week. I am concerned about more people in summer, trails being crowded, hotels being booked. Yellowstone national park just had 458k visitors just alone in May 2021. Hope this area is not that crowded.

Hi, will will be heading there this summer. Ferry will be stopping at Yarmouth. What is the best road to starts and drive on the Cabot trail? How many days do i need and best lodging to stay? Thank you.
@ThePlanetD
@ThePlanetD 5 ай бұрын
Yarmouth is in the south of Nova Scotia, so you will need to make your way north of Halifax. The road is one ring road that is easy to follow and there are options for BnBs, camping and some hotels. I would recommend 2-4 days for the Cabot Trail depending on how much hiking you want to do. Enjoy! Southern Nova Scotia is amazing as well. We have another video that highlights the South Shore from Yarmouth to Halifax and includes Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6Hbi4CBe6ykmqc&pp=ygUWdGhlcGxhbmV0ZCBub3ZhIHNjb3RpYQ%3D%3D
