Thanks Alexander, nice unboxing. I kickstarted this edition when you guys talked about it-- thanks for that. I'm interested in the topic and in the game design, and hope to get it into the Cube4Me innards and to the table for a hot seated solo play next week. Looking forward to your play review!

I really respect a game publisher that uses original art for the unit and other counters rather than just NATO symbols, which is so outdated and unimaginative. Seeing soldiers in various poses, artillery, stacked sandbag emplacements and even that barbed wire makes the game so much more enjoyable as you play it and I feel like you are getting more value for your money. I really like the map in this one too as it looks quite different, though not sold on those cards. I eagerly look forward to your review of this one to see if they addressed the gameplay issues you and others have identified as that will likely determine if I purchase it.

Had to laugh when Alexander said the counters were two centimeters wide. Here in the US counters are sized in terms of inches: .5, 5/8, .75, 1.0 etc.
