As someone who's always loved skateboarding and the culture with it, I'll always support the Skating community. Now don't get me wrong, I can't ride a skateboard to save my life; that's why I'm learning to street ride my Mountain Board. Nothing better than using momentum on a Snowboard with wheels

Bro skateboarding has always been seen as this sort of rebellious against the grain type thing. I think we should stop making it come across as an attack on something or fighting against something and just let it be fun. I remember when I used to skate back in the day and it was like I was fighting to skateboard in certain spots because they kept putting up signs saying we couldn’t skate there anymore.

Wow, thanks for the support. I didn’t expect anyone to reply. If anyone takes anything from this just know that not everyone shows the signs. You never know. We had plans and he had dreams. Yes, but the very practice of the sport is considered as a political protest still by many conservative people. The roots of it remain undeniably punk. It's not because you are unaware of this that it doesn't have implications. Whether you like or not, living an alternative lifestyle *is* a political choice in today's manufactured, copy-pasted world. And I'm fine with it.

What I caught was the profile pic of the watermelon and historically, Black people have been associated with eating watermelon in a derogatory fashion. During quarantine, I think I became depressed. I didn’t even know it. My mood was always low and I thought I was fine but when I started to skate I felt happier and was looking forward to waking up the next day and skate with my friends or just chill alike trying new tricks, it’s a different thing and I hope everyone can try it someday
