Oh my goodness, I loved what you said at the end about how you're not alive for some big purpose, but rather to enjoy and experiment and try new things. I've been thinking about that a lot, both in an artistic sense and a general sense, how life is a gift you're given and get to decide what to do with. Your life can only be lived by you, for better or worse! Just. Chill. Make art, and if it doesn't work, try again or do something else. It's all so much fun if you let it be. I just discovered your channel and I'm binging all the videos. Such great work! Thanks for sharing!

Precisely! I just love remembering that we can be curious and playful and simply try things. Thank you so much for your lovely feedback :)

You speak the truth., my friend. Yes, the struggle. As a writer, I know it too damn well. The balance between having a life and a soul. The frustration of underpayment and underappreciation on one end, and on the other the ecstasy of doing one's art with mastery and influencing, inspiring and entertaining an audience. Blessed those whose art yields the money they need without the unrelated day job. And those who find satisfaction in the day job AND are able to pursue their art. That is my forever prayer for us all, especially the first! At 58, I can attest that the balancing act lasts a lifetime. Even those whose soul is sucked out and lose the artistic drive in the midst of work, family and chores, never lose the passion and desire. It lurks within. Always. It is nature of a passion. No soul is ever totally gone. I don't know about vampires, but I do know we reincarnate and carry the passion from life to life, so it is essentially the same thing you're referring to. I believe it was da Vinci who said it best: art can never be lost, only abandoned. So here's hoping yours, no one's, is lost, and that you are always able to keep it ALIVE, front and center, burning and active, for your good and that of your audience.
