I love this.At first when you put the hole in I thought you had gone crazy now I see lol!..this is beautiful and a perfect table light shade.beautiful day and night.You have the beautiful glass effect because you used straight stains instead of the pearlescent ones like your friend did .His was beautiful,but not see through like this..I have followed you for ages now and your skills are getting better and better as time goes by.You always put your heart into each project 🥰

Beautiful Doug. As you were doing this project, I was thinking about layering 3/8" pieces of alternating of wood and resins together to make a vase or bowl. I would different woods and pastel colors. I would love to do woodturning but can't because of physical limitations. However, I can do other things instead. Have a blessed weekend and beginning of anther week with all your projects around your place.

MPC did that with resin and burl shavings… the resin disappears (melts?) and the shavings look like they’re floating in ice. It was pretty cool!

Absolutely perfect! I don't know where to start with the "atta boy"s but I'll try to go in order. Love how u used the pill bottles, I am IN LOVE with that main purple galaxy mixture, I hope u saved some of those shavings as they were beautiful and the size/shape is perfect for the lamp. 11/10 from me!

Those shavings are beautiful, they would look beautiful in clear resin . Lol those shavings are massive . You almost can’t see inside for them. I was hoping you’d cast this one in clear . I think my sister had it right next to her lava lamp.( My younger sister. ) Great work as always. I think the color was eggplant, it should have been purple and the ph in the resin changed the color, it does tend to happen with purples
