As a solo Traveller, Seabourn crew is absolutely amazing taking care of me and making sure that if I needed company, one of the officers would have dinner with me or I would be seated at a hosted table. And as you said, I have never been with a crew member that did not have a smile, a kind word, or an offer to help. The only time I had a slight difference with a crewmember is over how often to change the sheets. I only want my sheets changed once a week, and my room stewardess wanted to do it if not every day then at least every other day. It took a while for us to agree on Sunday every week. Thank you for letting me rave about Seabourn. This seems to be the only KZbin channel that talks about the ship. Most channels are focused on the larger ships.

'Just ran across your video, and it was superb. We're heading to Dubrovnik in late Aug for a 21 day cruise on Encore. We had intended to do a 17 day cruise out of Dubai, but because of the Red Sea issues, they cancelled it. Seabourn refunded ALL out out of pocket expenses, and couldn't have been more gracious... This will be, I think, our eighth cruise with them,, and your video brought home again how privileged we are to be able to do these cruises. I think after as many as we've done, maybe you get a little jaded, but I appreciated your comments, and it brought home again to my wife and I how special Seabourn is.....

Adore Seabourn. In the past nine years, this is the only ship I have sailed on so I am a diamond elite. Their one week free cruise is really amazing. What they do is they figure out how much money you spent during that entire time and then give you the equivalent of one week free cruising. So for me I got a check for $32,000 for my one week free cruise. I was fascinated with your evaluation of Regent. Truthfully, it sounded like a much more amazing ship than Seabourn when it comes to luxury. The Seabourn ships are much more casual and are not the luxurious decor that regent has. Nor does Seabourn have all the specialty dining because it is a smaller ship. Even so I think Seabourn is a spectacular cruise line. And perfect for my needs. The two of you do an excellent job of communicating and sharing what other ships are like and your experience on them. Love watching your channel. I hope you have a lot of success.

We love cruising. We have been around the world three times, stepped on all seven continents (8 if you count Zealandia) and visited more than 100 countries. We love Seabourn and it is our go to cruise line. We are at the diamond level and by December, good Lord willing, we will be at diamond elite status. We enjoy your videos. Have enjoyed your videos and become a subscriber. There is only one thing I’d challenge and that’s your comment about tipping. I understand you want to show appreciation and special recognition for special staff but you are spoiling this for others. You are driving up the cost of cruising. I’m sure staff on luxury ships enjoy a higher standard of remuneration than other lines. And your tipping disproportionately rewards staff that are able to make tips as compared with the below deck staff who work as hard but lack opportunity. Just my opinion.

Seabourn is my favorite, too. The Restaurant gets my # 1. View from Sojourn's Deck 10 forward is a close second. View from Deck 11 forward is a close third. Can't wait for our next Seabourn cruise.

IMO, Seabourn has two big advantages over Oceania and Regent. (1) with all the special events, deck parties, etc, it is WAY more fun for us 70+ year-olds. (2) Seabourn ships have at least 3 public outdoor decks in front, including an open bow, and at least 3 public outdoor decks in the aft. On O and R, it’s hard to find any comfortable place outdoors, forward or aft.

Hello...enjoying your channel. My wife and I and family have always cruised RC, Celebrity even Carnival but now that my kids are getting older, my wife and I are wanting to cruise as a couple!!! Kids are thrilled (not really).lol Ive been digging into some of these niche, higher end offerings like Azamara, Seabourn, Omnia (?) even Virgin. Soooo many choices. Its exhausting. lol We'd really like to do something that would take us to see as much as the Amalfi Coast as possible. We in in the US. Im thinking a travel agent is our best bet but curious what you folks might suggest. 11-14 days would be fine. Thanks.

Time for yourselves now then 😂🥂 Azamara is great and more reasonable pricewise than say Seabourn, Explora, Silversea etc, they have a great vibe onboard and we really enjoyed it. Explora is very swish, beautiful ships and amazing dining options and we love Seabourn too, very luxurious, unlimited caviar, great special events. Regent and Silversea maybe more tame and if you’re used to the bigger ships and the entertainment on offer they may not suit you, but Regent has incredible dining options. We have a partnership with a UK cruise specialist who are excellent and they have a US office and we will have the contact details very shortly as just being set up, so can message you back then so you can call them and see what they have. 🤗

Yes looking forward to taking a few "adult cruises" on "adult ships". lol My wife and I are not HUUUGE party people but we are 58 (me) and 50 (her) and we do enjoy hooping it up a bit with folks our age so being on a boat with 60-70's primarily might be a bit dull for us. Hell, most people in there 50's cant keep up. lol Azamara did seem like an attractive option. A little of everything, good itineraries, good food and a small ship environment which I am very interested in experiencing. Buttttt....then I saw your vid on Seabourn and that also sounded fantastic! YES, I would be very interested in speaking with your stateside agent. Seems like the best way to go when you're trying to figure out what cruise line to consider.

I, too, just came across your channel and love it. We’ll be sailing for the fourth time on Seabourn in Nov. One thing y’all mentioned that is sooooo Seabourn is the Molton Brown. I suggest it is the “scent” as a opposed to the “smell”! NCL and Carnival have smells,Seabourn has scents!

Good to see your reviews on all your travels getting better as times go on! What would be really good as I normal watch KZbin on my big TV if you could broadcast is 4K to truly enjoy the experience as it’s really lacking in picture quality, just a suggestion on my part:)

@@OudrageousAdventures Hi thanks for the comments. That’s strange as we shoot the videos in 4K on our camera and they are uploaded to KZbin in HD so it should happen automatically. KZbin has a habit of downgrading the quality unfortunately. You can alter the settings in your KZbin account to highest quality maybe that would help. Thanks for watching ❤️

Love your videos! My partner and I have our first Seabourn cruise this fall on the Soujourn in the Mediterranean. We are so excited. I’ve watched some of your packing videos but didn’t see one for Seabourn. Any advice for packing for Seabourn? From what I’ve read online, they are a little less from than Regent - I’m hoping. Thanks for the great comments ❤️ Yes quite relaxed on Seabourn, smart casual, for men Jacket on a couple of nights (tie optional) on our last cruise a few wore DJ’s but definitely the minority. Usually trousers and a shirt with or without jacket. Ladies smart casual again, cocktail dress on a special night. No ballgowns, but cocktail dresses every night fine, as are trousers and a nice top. As we said pretty relaxed but smart at the same time. Have a fantastic cruise 🥂🎉🚢

Just dicovered your videos and love them; we are dedicated Seabourn fans and have reached Platinum.Haven't heard about the free week! Is this still valid,if so they are keeping very quiet about it. Off on Sunday on Encore to Dalmatia....looking forward to Solaris; Thomas Keller but menu unchanged and although wonderful food, was getting boring(1st world problems..not Dover sole,again!)

@@stevetwiggs3599 Thanks for the great comments! The free week is definitely on and it’s for 140 days sailed or you can continue to save for 2 free weeks at 250 days sailed. You just need to speak to Seabourn to get it applied. Loved our cruise on Encore which we just disembarked! Video vlog going on our channel on Sunday all about our trip! Greece and Dalmatia. Wasn’t cracked up on Solis again, and a lot of people we spoke to said they weren’t either, but one couple said the best meal at sea so they must have pipped it right! 😂 Have a great cruise! 🚢🥂🎉

We love the idea of Seabourn and are going on our first in Sept...Mediterranean cruise. It is the dress code on non formal evenings that puts us off a little....in the restaurant is a short sleeved shirt or smart designer polo ok for men, or does it gave to be long sleeved shirt? The dress code isn't very clear. In practice is it more relaxed than it sounds?

@@angeladilworth8619 We’ve just embarked Encore today for a Greece and Croatia cruise! 🥂🎉 No problem with a polo shirt or short sleeved shirt and trousers on the non formal nights. It’s very relaxed to be honest just smart casual most nights and that applies to all dining venues. No jackets needed but gents do tend to wear them on the formal nights. Ladies smart casual most nights and a cocktail dress or trousers and a top on formal nights.Its lovely! We are doing an experience video on this cruise so look out for that coming beginning September! Have a great cruise, it will be hard not to! 😂🎉🥂🚢

We love dressing up on the formal nights, however more relaxed on other nights so we can relax and dance off all those afternoon teas! Hi, we love Seabourn as it has a relaxed vibe as does Explora. Seabourn do great special events onboard eg epicurean evenings and classical singers etc. Explora is modern and spacious, larger ships, amazing onboard and great dining options. Silversea we haven’t been on for years so can’t comment from recent experience, but plan to put that right shortly! We’ve cruised the Greek Islands numerous times, and the area is one of our favourites in the World. You can’t really go wrong with any of them! 🤗🥂

Absolutely agree with you the crew are amazing. I am a diamond member and obviously, love Seabourn over the competition. My only negative is the nasty champagne they serve. I don’t drink cocktails or spirits, so always end up paying for the odd bottle.

Thanks for the great comments ❤️ Seabourn has great entertainment and functions, but focusing on adults rather than children! 😂Regent also has some great guest shows etc. I guess against something like celebrity or NCL they are a lot more tame but personally that suits us better. Seabourn definitely have the edge if you’re looking for a livelier luxury cruise 🥂 Thanks again for watching 🤗

@@marshaadams5501 Pretty relaxed actually. Most night gents wear open shirt and trousers, some wear jackets. Ladies smart casual. They do have a posh night but once again gents wore jackets and open shirts, some wear suits and d&j’s but they’re the minority. Ladies tend to dress up a bit more in that night but by no means ball gowns! 🥂🤗

Just got of Regent Explorer,we had high expectations but we were disappointed, staff excellent, space ratio excellent, food very hot and miss in all restaurants, Buffet the worst we have seen .CD and staff were very ordinary.Suite were nice but felt very dated, free daily laundry is good.Officers were non existent did not interact with the pax.We think Seabourn and Silversea are much better for similar money.

Ah that’s a shame, we love Regent and have always had an amazing experience onboard. We love Seabourn too however, and yet to try Silversea. Would say Seabourn is more lively and interactive with the passengers and the suites are lovely.
