Mega Man X, Ep. 10: Sigma Stage 1

With all Mavericks defeated and Sigma's location finally revealed, X and Zero go in to infiltrate his fortress and put a stop to his wretched plans. Once inside the palace X's potential is put to the test, traversing through twisted halls and battling endless waves of Mechaniloids, as well as facing Vile once and for all...but not before witnessing the fall of his friend.
Sigma's first stage is an epic roller coaster, although quite easy if you bother to play it right. Using a charged-up Chameleon Sting or Rolling Shield when you reach the helicopter-like platforms at the beginning of the stage will greatly drop the frustration factor brought by the pesky Jammingers; however, if you think you can't jump from one platform to the other considerably fast, I recommend using the Rolling Shield instead of the Chameleon Sting. In fact, both the Chameleon Sting and the Rolling Shield prove to be a reliable weapon to use throughout Sigma's stages.
As for the bosses: 1) when facing Vile stick with a weapon of choice and keep moving to avoid his projectiles and him -- you can easily charge a Chameleon Sting and wail on him without having to worry about his onslaught; 2) when facing Boomer Kuwanger just stick to the usual Homing Torpedo strategy and he'll be gone in less than a minute or two; 3) and lastly, the infamous Bospider can be easily defeated with the Shotgun Ice by just staying still and waiting for it to go where you are, dashing away before it hits you.
PS: The Snes9x has problems recording multiple transparencies.

I like how Zero is all like "I GOT THIS MEGAMAN!", but in only a matter of seconds, Zero is defeated and captured in some weird force field thing, and Vile is victoriously awaiting your arrival in his giant robot suit.

If I remember correctly, the day I played the Sigma stages my hands were sore after punching a wall three consecutive times out of frustration due to something that happened that day - don't even remember what it was. I also felt taunted by Vile's "doesn't matter how much energy you absorbed" and "prepare to be terminated" lines, which prompted me to Hadouken his ass off. I might upload some additional gameplay videos, though, so... I had a feeling someone would comment on that, to be honest.

Using the hadouken on boss spider is understandable, but was it necessary to use it on a wuss like Vile? Ah, whatever. Keep up the good work.
