Jagan cannot be compared with Tuglaq at all. Tuglaq made poor decisions, but without any malice or ill intentions. Jagan on the other hand made every decision to screw someone else or enrich himself. That's the way he's always operated since his early 2000s, when his father was the opposition leader. His father's own cabinet members implicated him in the ED cases and he's been out on bail for over a decade, thanks to 'the most honest leader of India'. Jagan operated the same way even after becoming CM. His first order was to demolish a government building on the banks of Krishna river, because he didn't get to build it. He pretty much ran the biggest liquor scam in plain sight with the tacit support of 'the most honest leader of India'. Factionist mentality destroys everything if he feels so, and so is his enemy. Jagan, though he won with the full majority in 2019, instead of putting efforts on development, he became like a monarchy and concentrated only on taking revenge against his rivals and destroyed the entire AP to satisfy his ego and behaved like a fascist for all these years and looted the AP natural wealth. There was no law and order, and most of all, bureaucrats were forgotten their contribution in maintaining peace and tranquillity and behaved like puppets of fascist Jagan and all together involved in many scandals and in illegal activities. In such dictatorial ruling by Jagan, AP people got terrorized by the police. Human rights were suppressed, not only opposition party leaders, but common man also treated brutally. All these sufferings were made people aware and took revenge by defeating factionist Jagan and his party through their votes.

Constructing a city presents a significant challenge. Need to put out a 10-15% state budget for 10 years. Hopefully, with the support from the center, CBN build an Amarvathi. Amarvathi shouldn't be built at the expense of other cities in AP. CBN should take care of other cities as well.

Post bifurcation, AP being the most suffered state, debt ridden and the sops promised by NDA were not given. TDP, part of NDA during 2014-2019 failed to convince the centre for extra funds, failed to get special status as promised. Miserable mistake babu had done was to take the polavaram project responsibility from the centre. Revised the estimates everytime only o benefit the contractors and soughthhelp from the centre.

Babu built 2 structures in Amaravathi in 5 years, High court and Secrateriate. He will build another 2 structures in next 5 years, that's it. No state has resources to build new city from scratch, states like AP which is under deflicit after bifurcation definitely has no scope of spending money on new city.

A Greenfield capital will cost so much that without centre's support (Not to forget that unlike CBN, Jagan was not in NDA) completing the project will be a Herculean task. Plus JAgans stand on developing schools, hospitals, ports, and spending more money on welfare schemes for the upliftment of lower sections of the society made him to shift his focus on vizag, which was already a developed coastal city and with minimal infrastructure it cab be ready to function as a capital. However, to pacify amaravati farmers, he said it will serve as a capital too but only legislature capital. As promised by babu, jagan made kurnool a judiciary capital. Sometimes stratergies and policies of govt work and sometimes don't. Legal challenges didn't make him to execute what he planned. The main question arises why we need to plunder so much of wealth for green field capital and why cant we develop vizag. There was no straight answer from TDP supporters as well. However jagan failed to execute his plans. Lets hope atleast babu shall execute his plans but with minimum burden on state. He has centre's support now and lets hope centre funds the capital. This way even jagan shall welcome the centres decision.

Let me tell you that people outside Telugu states really don't have an idea about YSRCP. You need to see their interviews and understand Telugu. If we translate it and tell you, you will think we are bluffing. Let me give you an example of a politician interview, I guess he was an MLA Interviewer: Will you win the next elections? YSRCP guy: Why won't we? We can give 5000 rupees for each vote. Which party in the state has that kind of money? So, obviously, we will win. But don't ask us where we got the money from; that's none of your business.
