I really wish we had a quality left tackle instead of a revolving door. I’d even be okay with trading up to get a franchise LT, I don’t feel like Cam is *the* guy, even without injuries. Trevor and Travis do their best work when they have time to cook and let plays develop

He’s still mid, couple good games on a mid season. His second 300 yard game with one passing td like normal. If he can continue this and get better he’ll be able to keep up with stroud. Love to see the afc south become threats again

@@yayofuego He wasn't mid last year, down the last half of the season he was one of the best QBs in the league in every statistic. One difference is jags aren't having to put winning games on his shoulders because we're not playing from behind. Jags have hardly trailed in any games outside our 3 losses. Another reason is Press Taylor is kind of a mid play caller imo.

@@yayofuegoYou saw a dropped TD pass and then on another drive Kirk can’t get that extra yard for the TD when it feels like the elite receivers get that. That’s 2 more touchdown passes this game he missed out on due to the receivers. That’s been the story all year. He also literally has the worst rated offensive line in the league. And for much of the year the Jags led the league in dropped passes. Lawrence isn’t top 3 yet but definitely isn’t “mid.”

Brenton strange was a hell of a pick for us. Hes not the biggest tight end but damn is he a blocker. He understands leverage and exploding through the leverage.

Thank you for calling out that missed holding call on Engram! All I've been hearing from the media is how the refs gifted the game to the Jags like it was totally one-sided. The reffing was awful all around. The Jags got screwed first with that and all of the non-called holdings committed by the Texans O-Line. The Jags won in spite of the reffing, not because of it. The Texans did play well and CJ Stroud is clearly looking to be a franchise guy but the Jags out played them this particular game and the narrative and score does not reflect this.

Got screwed first? They took away a 50 yard pass on a bogus call before that. And they gifted a TD to the jags when they called a non existent pi on 3rd and goal. Not to mention the last sack of the game was a horse collar tackle. There's also plenty of other bad calls.

The reffing was so crap all around that it was hard to keep track off but the main point I care about is that it was not one-sided in favor of the Jags. That no call on the hold/DPI committed on Engram on that pick was egregious and so was the make up call against the Texans soon after. I'm mostly upset that we did not get to watch a fair match up between two great teams and QBs.

Why? Because Bosa said it? 😂😂. Every defense ever in the history of the NFL wants to take away the QB’s first read. That’s basic defense. It’s not that hard to see that when given time, Trevor can carve any defense up. Every QB in the league, more times than not, will throw to their first read. That’s what the play is drawn up for lol.

non-called penalties like that holding are why so many people are questioning the integrity of the game since gambling became legal. It doesn't matter what kind of bullshit/incompetence they pull, they know we're gonna watch every fucking game next week. Not saying NFL is rigged but some of these calls go beyond incompetence whether personally biased refs or corrupt ones.

The thing is it's always been this way and became worse once the NFL changed the holding call to 5 yards for Peyton Manning. Gambling just puts a magnifying glass on it for the people who gamble but it's not like the NFL bets on the games too so the NFL still wants certain teams to win based on their real breadwinner the TV ratings.

The non-called holding, I think is incompetence rather than bias. The refs did try to redeem themselves which makes the officiating worse. The NFL should implement a penalty challenge, 1 challenge flag per half should be sufficient
