JUSTIN FIELDS QB1. LETS GO

I thinks me, along with other Steelers fans, have to be very pleased and excited about Justin. He’s settling in with the team, the offense is still working on gelling with each other, and they’re winning games. Justin has not made any game breaking errors and he’s showing potential to grow in this offense. Once the offense gets their execution down better, they can be pretty dangerous. Thanks for the breakdown JT!

Yep. First game they just had him manage, second game they had him take a couple deep shots but still manage, last game they let him try and make plays and put together drives. Is it perfect no but that offense as a whole is getting better each week

They’re giving Fields what he can handle. A simplified, dumbed down college style offense. The only style of system capable of succeeding with a limited QB like Fields….also helps having the best defense in the league masking for an offense sputtering with only 17 ppg

Who is Justin? For the blind, he is the vision. For the hungry, he is the chef. For the thirsty, he is the water. If Justin thinks, I agree. If Justin speaks, I'm listening. One of the biggest takeaways from your Steelers breakdowns is how boom or bust Pickens is. Lots of talent, but also lots of mental mistakes. Tough to sustain great offense when he's your top guy! At least at this stage. I'm sure he'll improve with more experience.

On the first QB run play the snap is high which throws off the timing. then 74 misses the block on the pull and instead of continuing forward he tries to back track and takes up space. Eventually as the offense grow together all the working parts will be like a well oiled machine.

At 15:20, I think the reason he throws it in the second window is because we were trying to get as many yards before halftime to get a field goal. Checking down for 2 yards doesn’t do us any good with 1 timeout left and 30 seconds to go

You do realize that going into this game, the chargers were the #1 defense in the NFL, right? Not a knock, just context that should be added he put 20 on the #1 defense and had them so gased that they thanked him at the end for not scoring again and taking knees on the 1. On top of that the steelers D held them to -5 yards production in the second half thats CRAZY AF!

@@danielwolfe3147 that means literally nothing. I remember a few years ago they started 11-0 and it was obvious to everyone that the offense was trash. If the goal is to win the division and host a playoff game, then you should want the offense to play better than this.

Towards the 28 minute mark. You said you've never seem Justin make that throw where her navigated the backer - and threw the ball around him for a completion. He literally made that same throw while he was with the Bears. I'm not understanding.. How can you guys forget about all those amazing passes he did while with the Bears. But now pretend like it's his first time doing it? Are we in bizaro world?
