This is a great tutorial. You really need to change the measurements for the body of the pocket though. Width is 12" or 30.48cm.

The double folding of the top of the pocket body only works for solid colors where the right side and wrong side look the same.

Call me stupid but for the life of me, I don't hunderstand how you didn't sew the leg to itself when attaching the pocket. Please help, I'm lost, confused, cold and I miss my mum

Usually on a sewing machine there is a gap under the main sewing bar, slide the leg hole around it. Sort of like the tip of an ironing board
