So like I haven’t washe my hair since January and i I’ve been seeing progress but I’m very scared to wash cause what if it gets messed up
@TheQueenPo2 жыл бұрын
Are you doing cultivated Locs? If you are Freeforming, you can wash every day if you want to. The more washing the better. If you are cultivating (twisting, interlocking, etc.), you can still wash but use the cap technique where you place a tight stocking cap on your Locs to hold them in place. Pour shampoo over the cap and gently massage it into your scalp through the cap. Rinse thoroughly. No conditioner (it’ll lead to build up). Blow dry it through the cap and remove the cap once it’s completely dry. Your hair will be clean and still in place. You can do a moisture mist of rose water, vitamin E oil, tea tree or peppermint oil, and a little black castor oil. Shake it up in a bottle and mist it over your scalp and Locs. I hope this helps 🙏🏾

Oh YES! I love rainwater as well. I mentioned this in a video a while ago and the comments went wild about ChemTrails. I personally have only experienced positive effects from rainwater and still continue to use it for my hair, body, and spiritual work 🤷🏾♀️ Thank for the Love 🙏🏾💕

my first set of locs were cultivated and manicured. When i finally started this set, i twisted my hair one night before bed so she wouldn't mat, and i just never took the twists out. They were the ugliest little twists ever with no grid, just functional for the night. Two years later, i am loving my semi freeform hair; i don't do anything "extra" with her. Wash twice a week (while she's short, that's easy) and go. Thanks for ALL your videos. Love all your shared wisdom. 🥰

Maybe free-form is an option for me. Great & informative video. I started a grid pattern but I feel I would prefer the bricklay pattern in order to hide my scalp, I have sparse density 4c hair. But I feel my scalp is uneven. Whenever I part, it never matches up on the opposite side of my head. It's almost as if one side is a bit lower. I have started over 2x. I'm still not uncertain & anxious. The front strands are finer, back is more fuller. I'm scared of making the parts too small in front, then the locs look smaller in the front and a little more fuller in the back. I'm really struggling to get the parts on point. I do not want to start over my locs. I want to be happy with the results once they start to form. Free form could be a solution and I may be ok with it. Thanks again & I'll research a bit more.

I hope you see this because I seriously need some tips. I have a few questions. Did you twist your hair? If yes, Did you part the twists while you two stranded them? If not, do we really just do nothing and let our hair loc naturally? Did you use the sponge? Ik this is covered in the video but this is hard for me to believe. Why? Because I am so use to hearing how we have to do so much with our hair and to not do anything at all is insanely incredible and im ready for it Also fantastic video and im def subscribing!

@TheQueenPo2 жыл бұрын
I have a video on fly aways. It’s just apart of the journey that you have to get used to. That’s where my little tiny Locs come from the I show in the video. They are just fly aways that become their own Locs and sometimes Congo into others. If you don’t want that, you may have to become a semi-freeformer and interlock or twist the flyaways back into your Locs
