I recently unearthed 4-patches made from 2.5-inch stripes. I only have 96 for 24 blocks in ths pattern. If I can't find some more fabric from early 2000's I'll settle with what I have and make a youth quilt. Thank you for a wonderful site and great patterns. I told my friends I am obsessed by your tutorials and want to take a road trip to your shop this summer.

My mother used to say A Blind man on a galloping horse would be glad to see it. My Father a master carpenter and joiner would say near enough is not good enough. My professional life as a hairdresser was about precision, sadly considered o,ld fashioned nowadays . Love this video and your presentation, it’s on my list, new subscriber too👌👏❤

I love the 4-patch pattern. I like to make quilts in a monotone design - all pink, for example. I choose fabrics in different shades in the same color family. Some people might think this is boring but I love the way the various shades blend together throughout the whole quilt top. Your green and cream design is REALLY pretty. I enjoyed watching this video. Thanks!!

My 1st quilt was completely free form , I didn't measure any of my squares or trim them, just made them and sewed rows, I used a twin sheet as a self binding back. and only had 1 dart in the quilt when I was done. Then I watched youtube and learned making each square the same size and trimming and squaring up. Love it as it's a memory quilt and continues my grandmother's quilting tradition.

Beautiful quilt! Thank you for another great scrap busting pattern. I think I will also use this method modified to a 3 x 3 grid to use up my ever-growing stack of 5” squares, maybe with 2” sashing. I make many grandkids’ quilts and foster quilts and cut leftovers into 2.5” strips and 5” squares. The scraps then become more grandchild and foster quilts. 😅. So many scraps!!! Looking forward to trying this one out.

Love the tape on the mat!!! Brilliant 🥰. I saw a tip on another channel (MSQC) to stack the blocks you are going to sew…as in, you have ten of the same blocks to sew, stack them next to your machine and sew them up assembly style which also allows you to double check design placement.
