The Quilted Forest is located at 205 North Clark in Forest City, IA. Our phone number is 641-585-2438. We stock patterns, books, notions, batting, and fabric for sewing and quilting projects. Our shop is filled with finished quilts and smaller projects to provide plenty of inspiration. We are open Monday - Friday, 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. We are in the central time zone.

I was recently in a quilt shop - - they had just got in some glow-in-the-dark fabric. The clerk simply held her phone light over the fabric, and she was able to demonstrate how the fabric looked when it was glowing. It really was impressive, but I was more impressed because the fabric reacted to that light in a well-lit room ... good demonstration, I thought.
