Wow I should have looked this up a long time ago. I'm from America and so is my boyfriend. I come from an indian christian familiy and he is muslim bengali and younger than me. I also felt the comment about how our religious differences never bothered me (he is more agnostic, i am the more religious but open minded one) but that if we were politically not aligned then that would be a major issue for me. Our mothers were so upset with us and his mom told him that he didnt pray hard enough for a muslim bengali girl. His sister started to not support him anymore because she said I was not being smart about my decision making. I'm in my mid twenties now and being with him is risky for me. But honestly he makes me feel so safe, supported, and never treats me like a burden even when I'm so anxious about our families. He treats my friends with consideration and we agree on most things. I was really losing faith in our future but this really helped me.

These are some great examples of harmony between different faith but these are some exceptions and we know many more and more examples which also contradict the quint video
