I am definitely buying this sauna next month. I have a cheap sauna now but I love the saunaing so much and was looking into the red light therapy. I'm amazed that this sauna seems to have it all for a decent price! Thanks for the review

I purchased this unit based on your video and have zero regrets! One of the best purchases Ive ever made! Just one question, I recently discovered that we can sit in the sauna and be completely enveloped. I just ordered the therasage sit down pillow but I was wondering if the red light therapy exposure to our eyes is dangerous? Do I need to purchase special glasses for them of is it harmless? I usually use the sauna for 45 minutes to an hour.

I never wear goggles but I also don’t stare into the light. To be on the safe side, if get goggles.

How tall are you? Have you ever tried just sitting down inside that sauna without the chair and zipping it up so it the heat can cover your head/brain as well?

I'm six feet tall (182 cm) and can fit inside the sauna when I sit on the bottom.

Hello! Great review, really appreciate it. QUICK QUESTION: Does this sauna get really steamy inside? I know many of these portable ones do. The reason I ask - I really want one that I could sit inside, criss-cross, and read. Please let me know!
@thecakeisalie66016 ай бұрын
Its dry heat, you will sweat like crazy but there is no steam involved.

Thank you for this very informative video! It definitely helped me with my decision about purchasing this sauna. I’ve ordered it and am very excited to get started. Do you recommend taking a binder, and if so , do you have a favorite?

@@MichaelKummer something to help absorb the toxins that are released during sauna. I’ve heard people recommend things like activated charcoal , silica or bentonite clay. Wondering if it’s really necessary?

@@joyceolszewski5600Oh I just use a towel on the chair and floor to soak up the sweat (and toxins).

Hi. Good video. Is there any benefit to keeping the head in or out of the sauna? Thanks. Thumbs up!
@MichaelKummer9 ай бұрын
There isn't much benefit in heating up the brain but there are benefits of subjecting the rest of the body to higher temperatures than your head could handle. That's one of the reasons why traditional sauna goers often cover their head with a towel.

A great review! What are you thoughts regarding the Red Light Therapy Lamps (RedRush Lamps, for example)? Is it almost the same as using Infared sauna?
@MichaelKummer10 ай бұрын
No, it's not the same. RLT lamps don't induce heat stress but they're great for improving skin health and maybe helping with your circadian rhythm.

I just don't like that the head isn't covered... Especially for headaches, it would be nice to have the head covered. Would you suggest getting both a infrared sauna AND a portable steam sauna ?... Or are steam showers good enough ? What's your opinion on infrared mats/blankets... I had a Healthyline mat...So expensive, didn't really feel like it did anything and then it broke in 15 months. In order for warranty I have to pay 10 percent of original cost 😮 That said, there is the Orion blanket... Also... Do you have an opinion on the portable saunas by saunabox and nurecover? You're so fortunate to have these saunas
@MichaelKummer5 ай бұрын
You can sit on the floor and have your entire body (including your head) covered. If you have the space and budget, get both but it's a luxury that won't give you any extra benefits. IR blankets aren't the same as saunas - see kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWipqJ2rqpqInaM. Regarding SaunaBox - see kzbin.info/www/bejne/jme9l6SOmtBsmMU for my review. I like it!

Michael, what kind of outlet is needed for this unit? I consider placing it in the living room when in use.

A regular 10 amp outlet is fine.

Do you think that the lights in the Therasage are therapeutic grade? Or would a red light panel be better? I am having trouble deciding what to purchase for a small space. Mostly looking for detox and immune support. Would the lights in the Therasage have impact on mitochondria the way red light panels would?
@MichaelKummer6 ай бұрын
I think you'll get more benefits out of the sauna than from a panel. I have both and use them both regularly but for improved immunity and detox, you need heat stress and a panel won't give you that.

Hello Michael, I enjoy your videos! I am interested in purchasing a few personal full spectrum infrared FAR sauna for business & personal (use at home). Personally I would like to be fully enclosed inside the sauna. I am now down to 3 units and I am hoping you will be able to help me choose the "most" effective unit out of the 3 below unless you have different recommendation. (1). VEVOR Portable Sauna Tent Full Size, 1400W Personal Sauna Kit for Home Spa. (2). Thera360 PLUS Personal Sauna (Watched Your Video As Well !), ⭐Can I sit on floor and enclose myself completely in this model? I do not want my head sticking out. I am 1.93cm tall. (3). I have two queries, cleaning (how and when) for good hygiene. And the concerns about EMF. To my understanding humans are subject to EMF daily from many sources, the only real concern is ionising particules like X-rays or Atmospheric radiation like when flying.... any info would be appreciated.
@MichaelKummer Жыл бұрын
I don't clean the sauna because I have a towel on the floor and over the chair to absorb sweat. Regarding non-ionizing EMFs, see michaelkummer.com/health/how-emfs-impact-health/.
