I'm late but I have a theory as to why the NX logos were covered on those nitrous tanks. In the movie Brian uses nitrous to clear that bridge jump and win the race. At the end he pats those tanks and laughs as if he's crediting his victory to those nitrous tanks. Now if the NX logo was shown, the message wouldn't be "Brian won because of nitrous" but rather "Brian won because of Nitrous Express" which in turn would garner NX free publicity and sales(even though a proper product placement deal wasn't made) So to avoid all of this, they just covered the tanks up. The logo on the bumper probably doesn't mean anything or contribute to anything so it was fine to leave it on. But that's just my way of looking at it, I could be wrong.

I'd say 1 million dollars. Say the price Craig paid to buy and import the car from MotoRex and add some modifications, would be around 100K. Accounting for the rarity of the vehicle being federally road legal, hero car in 2F2F, rising demand of R34 and current market price, and Craig giving an outrageous price, it would easily get to 7 figures.

i dont know, but afaik, ALL motorex Skylines were also federally ILLEGAL, because they were brought in as kit cars. Meaning, they were disassembled in japan, brought over part by part, and were re-assembled by motorex. You can import a skyline pre 25 year-rule, but you cant drive more than 100 miles a year with it hence the "showcar"-plate. or you just wait another 4-5 years

Depends on what you mean. The engine in real life was a twin turbo RB26 with HKS 2540 twins. I'm sure a little bit of 2JZ was used for the sounds because clearly the sound teams loved that engine.

Tbh, the C-West Bodykit is THE (Aftermarket) GTR Bodykit in my opinion. I would go for the C-West over any other kit, but the C-West and stock GTR kit variants are on par for me
