He said they’d constantly be making beats on all the boxes and singing songs the whole time they were working but were a great group of people to have working for him. The issue is that phones suck the energy out of people when it should be on the show. Where your mind goes so does the energy. Hence their would be a collective consciousness at concerts before cell phones. This explains the power of concerts pre cell phone, or smart phones more properly speaking. Seeing an NPC on their phone at a show is no skin off my back but the lack of a collective consciousness is a bummer.

That's awesome Logan! I remember this song from the mid-90s and the Mathilda movie was a bit after my time. My daughter and wife saw the Broadway performance several years ago and I had forgotten all about it. I never knew this song was in the movie until I found this live version and saw the comments. Now I want to watch the Mathilda movie with her, but she's 15 now and not into Mathilda anymore. D'oh! Maybe I can convince my youngest to watch it with me. Lol

I was in high school summer going into 11th grade when this started getting radio play. Always such a cool vibe against the backdrop of that great rap/ hip-hop and grunge. Talk about alternative! 👍🏻

I needed more of this and less Nirvana, and Soundgarden now that I'm looking back at those years. Oh well my kids loving Ice Age brought me around, and I'm lving this band's vibe now.

Even though he looked like he was humping his guitar at the start, I'm willing to overlook that and rate this as the best version I have heard, live as well...much respect 🙌

Am reminded of a fun 90's Canadian group, Spirit of the West. Woodstock '99 sounded like a nightmare but these guys would be amazing to see live.
