What I hear is that he's doubled his income AND his partying, probably gloating about it while not repaying his siblings a cent "because he doesn't want to pay the bank charges on a wire transfer" and he "wants to be able to pay the full debt at once". He then handed the $100 bill back to me and repeated, "TRY to drop it." So I "tried" to drop it but this time, I didn't let it go. I just made the movements as if I was "trying" to drop it. The “evil bank”. When people ask to borrow money and you lend it to them then that is “evil”?
@mathisnotforthefaintofheart2 жыл бұрын
@@edhcb9359 Ok, a little nuance here. A bank is there to do business, I get it. They don't care about you personally. I have seen more than once that even if a client needs a little "wiggle" room to make payments, some banks are as hard as a rock and will make the client go through deep sh!t. Banks have this attitude to be very indifferent, if not outright destructive to some people who have ended up in financial trouble not to their own fault, in particular people of color and minorities. 2008 is a classic example. I am sorry to say, but I find a banks very little to do with morality and humanity these days. Why do you think Ramsey doesn't like banks and their loans? But borrowing money from your family is a NO because you can't really separate yourself from family if things go wrong. It hurts both parties.

“Didn’t you watch Star Wars One? There is no try.” Ok Dr. John, a lot to unpack here. That quote is from Episode 5. Even if you consider the original Star Wars the first movie, which is acceptable, that quote would be from Star Wars Two under that system. Whereas if you refer to them in numerical order, the quote is from Star Wars Five. I’m not even going to do a deep dive into referring to it as “Star Wars One” as opposed to “Episode One” which is proper shorthand phraseology. From a guy with two doctorates, I would expect more. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

My sister just asked if she could borrow some money to pay for a house. Of course I said I don't have money even tho I do because I just don't want problems

Dave is WRONG this time. They "need" and expect their money back, or they would not have asked for it. They do not owe him a reason or explanation. What a pompous guy to judge their reasons or status. Pay family FIRST, today. Don't feel sorry for yourself if your siblings don't even "try" to act like they like or respect you anymore, they are not that stupid. I'd "try" to remember to invite you to Thanksgiving dinner, but don't hold your breath, you don't need it, you can just keep going out to eat.

honestly Dave has a great idea and has millions paid off their debts quickly. call them, make a plan, and stick to it. both sides made a mistake not setting up a plan. Him starting this will go a long way. if the siblings are stupid enough to sue. idk about international loans but in the US if there is no proof and he claims it was a gift. he doesn't owe anybody anything
