@penguin12902

@@pneron2032 Incorrect. The inherited property would not be split in a divorce because it's sole and separate from marital property. Once he sells it the cash hits the family bank account, it becomes marital property and she would have access to it in a divorce. That's her game, she wants access to that money so she can leave him and take half.

There is no reason to be impressed with this male caller. If you listen closely and do the math correctly, caller has only accumulated $30K more in financial assets than his wife, over decades of single life with no children to pay for. He has the audacity to complain about the $100K balance remaining on her townhouse mortgage and he doesn't have a bathroom all to himself. How is this a revelation to him when they dated for years? Wife did not pull any financial shenanigans on him. She provides shelter to him, not the other way around. Is it any wonder that Mr. Ramsey is not impressed with this caller?

Its a safe bet that if the farm was with her family, she would not be so eager to sell and go all in with him. Its obvious he has the assets and she doesn't.
