People act like Dave Ramsey is heartless but he really isn't..he could tell immediately with the lady with a 15 yr old that she was very much struggling with confidence and he motivated her and made her feel better...plus encouraged her to find a career she wants.

I didn’t know that I was working The 7 baby steps until I heard your show ! I’ve been called cheap and a lot of other names I’m sure. But looking back I was doing the right things. Living on less than you make , keep debt to a minimum and we paid our house off in 17 years. Now we have healthy emergency fund of a years salary and got money invested. We did all this on our own. But Dave is telling you how it is “just live on less than you make “ you can’t borrow your way out of debt

Dave might be wrong about the pysch exam. My husband was a cop for 30 years. Many pass and end up being a problem but they are very careful now with cops shooting more than they should and other things. The year might be just for them but it might be for any city nearby. They share results. My husband told his boss not to hire someone who didn't do well in another district and he regretted hiring him. I was watching a documentary about Western women no longer having children. It cited studies showing that if a woman doesn't have a child by age 31, her chances of ever being a mother drop to about 15%!

@@myoldvhstapes sorry, but that is straight bullshit. 😂 The median age of first time mothers in the US is 30. ALOT of women are having their first kids at 30+, due to wanting financial stability, to finish education, and to establish a career before having kids. People are also getting married later in life than they used to, both men and women, which is helping push first time motherhood ages out. Throw that documentary away!! 😂

He probably knew just what to say for the written, but in person, you can learn alot about people. If they said he's not fit for duty, I believe them. The police would accept three possums in a trench coat right now. 😭 For them to turn him down, something was very wrong.
