So, is mousse illuminee still not ifra compliant. I want 3 from this house but its pointless if they are compliant. I could just get vintage instead

I asked him awhile ago and he says no reformulations. Just took off the aggressive tag line for the house. It's unfortunate, because that's a big part that put him on the map and got him into Lucky Scent.

Interesting about the non-IFRA tag line. He still has his warning about the bergamot and oakmoss amounts in his Etsy product description though. I finally picked up a bottle of Chypre-Siam (at 20% discount from his Etsy shop!) and messaged him on a few topics. He confirmed there have been no reformulations-only upgraded qualities of oakmoss and vanilla bean absolute back in 2018. He also confirmed the new bottles were because he wanted more proper and professional bottles to house his product. I can confirm, it’s a stunning presentation befitting the scent. Have you tried Bon Monsieur yet? Classic barbershop fougere vibes. Creamy lavender pine shave soap. I’ve heard comparisons to vintage Tsar, but I get a smoother blended TF Beau de Jour. I know you’re sensitive to soapy so curious to hear your take. Have tried most of his scents, but currently comparing 4 of them on my arm right now-Fougere L’aube is basically a less sharp GIT, Tabac Vert is a dusty leather tobacco wood, Bon Monsieur is gentlemanly creamy shave soap, and Chypre-Siam is a gorgeous green floral powder. C-S is still my fave, but BM & TV could also be easy pickups in my future.

Yeah I have kept on the house quite a bit and new presentation is better. A lot of people stuck with the screw bottles and has to be noticed for the people that help get Rogue here. Big evaporation in both of my bottles so far. Ouch. Makes for a high end concentration. Also since I mentioned it in every one of my videos as he is the only one to market Non-Ifra I am going to make it a point that he has shrunken to pressure and taken that off of his branding. I know what got him here. Sick of brands using marketing techniques to grow and then giving into the scare tactics of the industry. Believe me I ran into all the same people on my reviews. They run from me because I don't have a brand to threaten and can counter there arguments and show the complete nonsense they have. Have to try BM. CS is something I won't be without and will watch as the brand grows. I got the first batch before the oak moss upgrade. Wanted to smell original work. But randonmly sample as I order from places to check in. Love all the new stuff he has done except price, but it was cheap and help justify the homemade screw top. Wish he would of kept the Non-Ifra tagline. I'll be honest it's the main thing that drew me to cover and sample his house, was his advert middle finger to the institution.

@@TherapeuticFragrance right there with you brother. And like you, I’ve only had allergic reactions from mass market scents... interesting how that works. I will say, I’ve had dermatologists warn me that naturals have many more *potential* allergens than an isolated synthetic aromachemical-but if you’re allergic to that isolate, you’re gonna know it!

I strangely love wearing Jasmine Antique. On my skin it’s an indolic monster, but it wears more minty, and less sweet. I know there are more elaborate, we’ll developed white florals out there, but I have fun wearing JA haha.

Jonathan Jasmin Antique if I had it and should of mentioned it is a layering dream for the monster it is. I don't know if your into oud or not, but try layering this with any oud I would go Cambodion if you have any. Also if you have any gourmands that are two sweet this could pair good with a few of those. Or just wear it like a boss, like your doing now. Cheers Friend.

To me it’s not dirty, but rather naturalistic like real blooming jasmine plants at night. I guess that as a white floral lover I am used to much worse 😂 Moon Bloom for example registers much more indolic in the opening than JA and others like Jasmin Rouge or Lust from Lush that I feel are “looking for trouble”. JA feels quite polite in comparison!

This is what's going to happen. As the Non-IFRA perfumes become more 'trendy', IFRA will first demand that non-conforming perfumes remove any mention of IFRA non-compliance. This will expose the perfume makers. THEN, behind the scenes, they will sponsor lawsuits for certain 'purchasers' who have reactions to said perfumes. IFRA absolutely CANNOT have the success of non-IFRA compliant perfume because it will shine a MASSIVE spotlight on all their client's perfumes as significantly lacking in comparison. Their existence depends on it. We know niche now dictates global perfume trends, IFRA are screwed if they don't take action. They are screwed if they take OVERT action though.
