A nice lyric on Macs song Apparition is, 'I've experience every feeling except fine', outlining your point of him never being relaxed and never feeling like he can just come to peace and become himself

Thanks for watching and for sharing that comment and perspective. To me on a clinical level it was so clear that he was dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety on a daily basis. So sad that he is no longer with us.

thank you for not only the insight into Mac's music but for the lessons and advice for how to look out for friends
@brucemufson58106 жыл бұрын
Thank you for both compliments. The goal in doing this channel was to use the music as a way to teach a lesson. So often people will say about those that have either attempted or committed suicide or have had serious bouts of depression, that I had no idea what was going on. The goal of the video is to be able to say that here is a way to look at cues and be able to step in and offer support and help.

I am a Big Mac fan and started listening to these. I wish I lived in Nevada so I could have a therapist/counselor like you.

Thanks for watching and commenting. He was and will always be a great artist. We are developing content on a different level that will explore issues such as self-esteem and self-control as well as going deeper into specific mental health issues. Just stayed turned in and thank you for all nice comments.

Really love these videos. Is there any chance you could go over an oldie but a goodie "Mind Playin Tricks on Me" by the Geto Boys. Really interesting lyrics before anybody talked about mental health in rap.
@brucemufson58106 жыл бұрын
Thank you for these nice words. Its interesting that you brought up that song by the Geto Boys. In the history of rap it is probably the first song that did talk about mental health issues. I cant say when we will get to it, but all I can say is that this will be one of our breakdowns in the future. It is a great song.

What is your interpretation of "wings" from the album?
@brucemufson58106 жыл бұрын
Actually we are breaking down each song from the album so you will see the interpretation of wings in the next few weeks. Once you watch it, please tell us what you think.

I think he meant he was listening to post malones song titled whitney. Not about Whitney Houston. I get the correlation being drug usage but i believe you may be honestly mistaken on that one sir. Post malone released a song titled feeling whitney just 2 years prior to hurt feelings by mac and its a pretty sad song and definitely more fitting to what mackey boy was submerging in.

We know we know and again like I said to the commenter below and actually someone else as well, we made a mistake. I had gone to a different site and it had never occurred to me that the lyrics would not be the same from whichever site you went too. We now know that not true. As the commenter said below and as you pointed out we need to stick to genius. Any of his songs that we will be doing in the future will be commented on with the lyrics from genius. We only want to show respect to Mac and his music and to all of his fans. Thank you for taking the time to point out our error and again we apologize..
