SAD boyie is a new one but that's me. Cold or precipitation never bothered me but coming from one of the darkest cities in the US I used to think I was just inherently an unhappy person. Then I started to realize that my productivity was terrible inside on a gray day, but when I got things done outside under a blue sky it was...well like night and day. It took me awhile to understand that my phone having an alarm clock option doesn't make it a good idea. Aside from having the phone with me before I sleep, there was also a time in my gap year I set it too early, and it fell under the bed. My roommates have...mostly...forgiven me. My goal is to get in better shape. Even more than most people, I'm in much better shape in the summer than the winter, def SAD related, but I've been managing a back injury for a year so this is one of my first chances to get back into things and hopefully come into the spring with good momentum. I'm also having my best reading year by far in awhile, I think I'll hit 22 books. I really appreciate the videos. After a few years of trying I still haven't yet found the right therapist fit(the work that Zac Seidler and the Movember guys did about men's struggles with therapy describe me to a tee), so advice from friends and family and credible-but-not-cliched advice from KZbin both bear a little more weight than they otherwise might.

That's an awesome goal to have for the winter - I imagine staying active this winter will only boost your mood! Best of luck as you enter a new fitness journey!

My mental health is always bad I guess but I have noticed I really struggle in the fall and winter (especially now after Christmas). I live in Scandinavia and some weeks we don't get to see the sun at all. Also, the sun goes down at 3 - 4 PM which is not helpful at all. Today it was sunny and even blue sky which made me much more happy. I can't wait for Spring, it is my favorite season. I have been wanting to try light therapy lamps for years and I'm thinking of maybe buying one soon since light really effects me. I want to try Omega supplements but I'm scared it got weird taste and I'm struggle with food textures and tastes (Autism). I might just get a multivitamin instead. I struggle the most at night with falling asleep and then in the mornings with waking up or even just get out of bed. The short word for Seasonal Depression (SAD) is actually very good one haha.

I personally have really benefited from light therapy! And I've been taking an omega supplement that has a lemon flavour. Hope you're hanging in there, it'll be spring before we know it😊
