My newest is the Navy Piper Cub from motion that i chose to run electric but i want something like this gas powered that i can really love. Nice Work!

Chris, You can still get a Keleo ring exhaust. Did you reach out to the new owner? Anyway a ring and pipes on both sides would be cool.
@Thercgeek3 ай бұрын
The challenge with the ring exhausts is that they go around in a complete circle and exhaust out the bottom which in this case is where the nose gear is. This would require a custom exhaust to get it where it needs to exit for the scale location.
@christopherrichard3693 ай бұрын
@@Thercgeek That's what I mean. Have him weld the pipes onto the ring in the scale location.

How much did you have to turn down the endpoints on the throttle channel due to that long servo arm? Looks like about 50 or 60 percent from here. Servos should rotate ±40° at ±100%. I offset the servo arm one tooth toward the idle side to make the idle speed setting less sensitive.. 😎

I have that same engine on a Great Planes Giant Big Stick XL. Just curious and I know this is probably a silly question but, where did you get the wood template for the mounting holes for the Saito? Did you make it or is it available for purchase? Also, just FYI, there is a German company that makes an exhaust ring for that engine and it sounds awesome.

The wood template came in the kit. When I changed out the intake, I placed the mount against it to plot out the holes. They were close to some guides that were already there.
