@@MauzyrockRC up front you do have to pay a little more because of not have if electronics but not much as now we have kit breakers like Jenny’s rc, I just through a 2200kv system from their I could say so much about my two Tekno et48.3 but long story short I think it is can be the most durable car on the market, if you want ultimate durability I would recommend The Tekno et48.3 as right now their is more after market parts out for it I built mine from the Tekno mt410 as the parts are very close except for chassis and shock towers, wing The only m2c upgrades I have on it is the chassis, rear brace, tower brace And the all racing metal top plate Check out my last video to see what I put it through, I’ve landed 50 ft jumps upside down and it shakes it off Overall you will pay roughly $800 to get it there Fierce rc solution has massive coupons for Tekno and m2c products

Thanks Paul - yeah, you nailed it. the race tires were SO well balanced for the set up of the rig. It was SO controllable and predictable. The bash tires added a ton of weight....and rotational mass. First of all congratulations for your videos, I want to ask you what you think is better for bashing a truggy or the Arma Vorteks for example,... I want a car all around for bashing and jumps and sometimes for the track, a pro one and for tracks build by me.... What you think???
@TheRCNetwork
@TheRCNetwork 3 жыл бұрын
Well, traditionally, "truggies" are 1/8th scale like the one in this video...it can easily accept race or bashing tires. the Vorteks is a 1/10th scale size, so it's much smaller and doesn't really fall into any racing class

Hey. I got the exact same motor combo as you, on a losi 8ight xte, and i feel like the motor gets alittle hot? The esc barely breaks a sweat. What pinion are you running, and have you adjusted any timing or something?
@TheRCNetwork
@TheRCNetwork 2 жыл бұрын
I'm running a 15t....zero timing - no need on a 1/8th scale running 4s. I'd drop a couple teeth on your pinion and see if that helps....are you sure there's nothing holding the drivetrain up - like a blown bearing, bent suspension/driveshaft/etc? Also, what terrain/wheels tires? That also makes a difference

@RCNETWORK-which servo is better for 1/10 scale 4wd buggy a high torque steering servo or a high speed steering servo? Aaron
@TheRCNetwork
@TheRCNetwork 3 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you're looking for. I always pick the servo on torque first....and most 1/10th scale buggies need about 300oz/in......then I buy down the speed. Meaning for a 300oz/in servo is not a lot of money...until it becomes fast. You'll want 300oz/in and about 0.10 or faster for 1/10th buggy. 0.07-0.08 being ideal. That extra 0.02 seconds will cost some money though. Also, keep in mind, many newer 1/10th scale buggies require lo profile servos. Take a look at the AGFRC A66BHLW - it's a powerhouse

This will be the only running video on the channel....I typically only do one. The only chance there would be another one is if I end up at a proper 1/8th scale track in the near future.
