I do get angry, even tremble sometimes, but right away try to understand where they’re coming from, talk about it, agree to disagree, and depending never talk to them again because we’re gonna waste time. Someone who says something that would cause such a big emotional reaction in me is either ignorant or they have issues that I can’t help them solve by being angry at them, OR I’m ignorant and have issues and gotta solve that instead of argue back. I enjoyed this movie from start to finish. Apart from its dry, dark style of humor, I generally enjoy stories about damaged people (or just people struggling in life for whatever reason, such as struggling to belong or feel fulfilled) who find each other and bring a positive change (or at least an opportunity for positive change) into each other's lives. The best kind of love story in my opinion, be it romantic or not (Stories about the love of friendship or family count too, for me), is the kind where both characters help one another to improve and be healthier as people, not only for others' sake but for their own. It's one of several reasons why Silver Linings Playbook is one of my favorite rom-coms.
